Checked in on line but that didn’t seem to make a difference. That being said, we loved the food and drink .our waitress was... attentive, We shared a simple green salad and it was very fresh. Worth a try if you are ok paying $16 for a burger. Inadequate parking for venue. Careful not to get blocked in if parking... between road and parking lot. Food was good, but we couldn't overlook the extravagant pricing. Burger was par with favorite atFaust Hotel in new Braunfels, but twice the price. So happy to have a long time, successful Houston Chef here in Wimberley! The food is creative and some of the most flavorful... we’ve had since moving this way. Nice selection of beer and wine with that rare full bar. Local bartender is a magician on thecraft cocktails. Owner Ryan is here “all the time” according to staff. Stop in and act like you’re supporting local whilehaving the best meal in 3 counties. Read more
New place we had to try. Very impressed with all the staff on hustle mode. We absolutely loved the biscuits with honey, butter... and peach jam. Wow it was out of this world delicious! 4.5 stars but I rounded up cause the service was good on a busy day. Went on a Thursday evening and the parking lot was almost... full but the food and drinks came out without delay. Cocktails were tasty (preferred the Paloma over the margarita), appetizerswere okay and but mains were quality. Had high chairs for the kiddos which was appreciated! We’ll be back again soon. For our first visit we tried apps and sides and they were delicious. The potato leek salad is incredible. Delicious ribs.... Service was good and friendly. I'm excited to watch this place evolve and show us its inventiveness and character. Read more
A unique spot right outside of San Marcos in Wimberlee. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Picnic tables outside and tables... and bar seating available inside. The country fried venison is worth trying for sure. Made with LOVE. The batter was seasonedwell and freshly fried. We also had their cucumber salad which was light and refreshing. Potato salad was equally delicious! Wecan also suggest the strawberry jalapeño margarita! So glad our friend suggested to meet up here because we’re ready to goback! Read more
The food was outstanding. My wife, "this steak sauce is AMAZING." Son #1, "this is the best burger I've had in forever, and it's... HUGE!" Son #2, "He put raw mushrooms in my veggie burger!! Thank you Hildee!!" (I special ordered a veggie burger for myvegetarian son. The chef asked what he liked and didn't like and I mentioned that he LOVES raw mushrooms but hates cookedmushrooms... to my son's delight, the veggie burger included the tastiest raw mushrooms!!) Daughter, "This steak is incredibleand the shrimp are so delicious!" Me, "This chicken fried venison is so stinking good!" I've read a few reviews about portionsizes... I guess things have changed because we had two boxes of leftovers to take home because we just couldn't fit it all inour bellies in one sitting! I couldn't recommend this place enough. Read more
