We had an amazing first experience at Jobell Cafe. I was hesitant bringing two toddlers here as I had an impression this was a... very fine dining experience. To my surprise they had kid's menus and crayons for our girls to enjoy! I've included a picture ofthe kid's menu as I couldn't find that online. My toddler's hand is covering that they have apple juice and whole milk. Everyonewas very friendly and professional that we encountered at Jobell. The food was amazing (for both the kids and the adults) andthe deserts were great too. My husband and I are now planning some semi-date nights where we can enjoy great food and bring ourchildren along. Read more

We came in from Houston and made reservations here for Thanksgiving. We couldn't have chosen a better place. The Thanksgiving... meal my husband had was all delicious. Fresh green beans in the casserole! I had the duck and it tasted like steak. Great beerand wine, and the bourbon pumpkin pie with pecan streusel was absolutely amazing!! The best pumpkin pie ever!! The owner/chefeven hugged us when we left....HIGHLY RECOMMEND Read more

My husband and I were visiting the area for the weekend and wanted a nice place to eat for dinner one of the nights. I?m so... happy with our choice. Everything we tried from the menu was delicious! My husband got the bone marrow and pork. I had the Brieand duck. It was all fabulous. It?s a super cozy little spot and our server was very sweet and helpful with menu suggestions. Wepicked bread pudding for dessert. O m g. It was dryer than a normal bread pudding, but once you add the toppings it?s to diefor. Read more

Very cozy rustic restaurant. Their food is good, I had the ahi tuna and asked to have an additional piece of tuna added to make... it in to an entree. Most of my family had the chicken piccata and they enjoyed it. My boyfriend had the pork belly which heenjoyed as well. We also ordered a side of the carrots and the rosemary truffle mashed potatoes. I absolutely loved the mashedpotatoes. They had a well balanced tase of rosemary without being overwhelming. They didn't taste much like truffle which wasalright by me because I find truffles to be overwhelming. We also got the cheesecake, crème brûlée, and the cookie, all ofwhich were very delicious. Overall I'd recommend going to Jobell if you find yourself in Wimberley! Read more

Fine dining. A little pricey, but worth it. Had Sea Bass and Steak Diane. Don't forget the cheesecake for dessert...not a... heavy traditional version, instead, it was very light. Super. Read more

Wife and I really enjoyed our food, I loved the mashed potatoes and the tuna tacos really came together well. Only thing I would... want them to improve on would be their fries could be crispier. We loved the atmosphere and location Read more

Update after the response on Sept. 25, 2021: You just made me reconsider and now I think Jobell isn't 2 stars; it's 1. You... clearly have no idea how to take criticism and apologize to your guests, because your reply wasn't an apology; you were makingexcuses. If you can't see yourself and how your food tastes and looks like, you won't ever get better at what you do. Sorry tosee it happen to you. Good luck at being less than mediocre, I'm not ever going back to Jobell. Mediocre! For a place prettymuch in the middle of nowhere, perhaps it wasn?t bad but the even though the food arrived very quickly it was lukewarm. It tellsme they probably microwaved our dishes and that?s just unacceptable (and lazy!). The poached eggs were almost boiled (again, probably nuked in the microwave), and the whole thing didn?t really come together as a dish to me. The waiting staff a bit toocasual for me; the place is cute but won?t be coming back. Good mimosa and cute place aren?t good enough, they need to improvethe quality of their food. Read more
