Waitress was awesome , Fried Chicken was great!!! The mashed potatoes were warm, when they came out but got cold fast , Green... beans tasted great.. Soda drinks flat from machine but we still enjoyed the food and the one waitress... Food came out prettyfast. Read more
I do agree with the previous reviewer who stated the restaurant has an odor when you first walk in that fades when you sit down.... I don?t think it?s because anything is unclean, it just seems like because it?s an older building, didn?t bother us once we satdown! We got A LOT of food. $17 tip included for Buffet on Sunday. I did not get it why people would pay that much money for this lunch. I just did not get... it. A lot of people here to eat. Maybe just not my type of food. Chicken is same as KFC. Too much money for this quality offood. I was going to give 1 start. But the service was really nice. I added another one. Not my type! Letme add more!!!!! Today is Monday. We 4 people went there, 3 people got stomach ache. After talking and confirming with eachother. All 3 people ate chicken, only 1 people did not!!! I have to change the star to 1 now! If you are wanting true SOUTHERN FOOD you don't want to miss out on eating at Blue Isle. Some of the best fried chicken, greens,... corn and cobblers I have ever eaten. "BRING YOUR APPETITE, IT'S A VERY NICE BUFFET STYLE" . The service is by far the best wehave had in a long time. William was our server, he was so nice, polite and attentive. It was an enjoyable experience allaround. We will definitely be back anytime we are near Winchester, Kentucky. Read more
