Food was delicious. Service was interesting. When we came in they were counting up how much chicken they had left and told us... "first before you place your order, we can only take credit cards or exact change". The people before us bought 11 pieces ofchicken and our 6 pieces was going to put them out of chicken. We sat to eat and then the same girl came around to clean tables.She cleaned very thoroughly. The only thing that we thought was off is she went from table to table cleaning the tables, seatsand window ledges with the same cloth. No rinsing in between, no sprays, just using the same cloth. I think maybe there shouldbe a different one for tables and seats and ledges, but that's my opinion, and after the first one, that cloth is pretty dirty. Read more
Almost every aspect of order messed up. Received wrong number of tenders, mashed potatoes instead of fries. Wrong side on kids... meals. Regular lemonade instead of frozen. When asked to correct, the cashier seemed annoyed. Asked for sauce and received none.Frozen lemonade has big chunks of ice. Chicken and biscuit were good. Read more
We enjoyed the food. I didn't give a 5 because we were not given napkins when we asked for some we were given brown paper towel... from the bathroom rolls. The staff we're not very friendly or helpful. We did get great food so over all we were happy enough totry again next time we're that way. Read more
My wife and I came here expecting excellent service, but we were let down terribly. The first time that we came they were out... of spicy chicken, we said no problem, so we took the mild. Terrible mistake number one. There was no seasoning on the chicken.We overlooked it as it was cooked well. We came back later, now there was spicy chicken but it was undercooked as the meat wasstill red. My wife cannot eat any type of red meat or else she would get sick and she is 8 months pregnant. This is when wereturned the chicken and opted for chicken tenders instead. When we returned the remaining chicken the male employee who servedus dumped the tenders in front of us and claimed that we had him fooled into giving us extra food for free. The box of chickenwe returned was still sitting on the counter. He started complaining to his co-workers, not realizing that one of them alreadycollected the food back. This then told us we made terrible mistake number 2. Only when he realized that we returned the wholebox already, he then tried to smooth it over. It was too late, we already were painted terribly and there as no telling who elseheard. We were completely embarrassed. I love Popeye's chicken. Let's make that clear Spicy chicken sandwich gets a five star. Every. Single. Time. However my... experience in the Drive-Thru at this particular location as always been a little less than stellar. I would recommend it, butonly if you have a little more time than usual. The staff is nice, the service is good, but sometimes just very slow. Read more
I'm giving this place a 1 star because of the manager. When we arrived, we were the only person in the drive thru during the... middle of dinner. We went thinking they would have a grilled chicken sandwich option. I was getting this for my grandmother. Wewere greeted by a very friendly order taker through the speaker, but we were unsure of what to order and needed to pull awayfrom the speaker to make a call to my grandmother and clarify if she wanted us to go somewhere else or if fried chicken wasfine. When we went to park, the manager started yelling at us to pull to the window so we would "ghost her" and that we wererunning up her time of service. Immediately that was a red flag. Then we headed back in line and ordered. The manager at thewindow took our money and handed us our drinks. She was not in a good mood at all. She also was on her personal cell phone whilewaiting on us at the window. She forgot our two sides of mashed potatoes with our order. I clarified it was on the ticket. Ilike Popeyes. Not sure why I keep giving this Popeyes location more of my $$. Oh, yeah, I know why. The online ordering app has great deals on... it, and this Putin Price Crunch has me pinching pennies. If I can save some $$ here and there, it helps out. My last 2 orderswere disappointing. The drive thru is terrible. They are always fully staffed and appear to have 1-2 more employees than theyactually need, because they are usually out back or sitting out front smoking cigarettes. I order online and give them plenty oftime to receive the order, yet both times I was orders to pull up and wait. One of those times I was handed my Sprite and it wasmissing the ice! Sooo, if you go to the Winchester Popeyes, be prepared to wait 15-30 minutes for your food IF you're lucky andnot Forgotten about!! And, please double check your order after the cigarette smoking employee slow walks your food out to yourvehicle. One of these days I'm gonna learn to stop ordering from this sad location... Read more
