Great deli with the best subs I've ever had.
My family and I are/were regular customers of Dagostinos ?.mainly in Winchester because of the close proximity to our Melrose... home. I shop every weekend and enjoy all the take and bakes, salads and cold cuts! I was there today and called to providefeedback after my take and bake pasta red sauce cover and "Saran Wrap was not secure and spilled on my car seat and rug.?I wasnot looking for compensation but as a regular customer providing feedback.. I spoke to the owner's son (later found out it wasthe son) who was rude and asked to speak to the owner who is Ralph...absolutely had no interest in listening to my concerns andkept saying give me the receipt and I will pay for your car to be cleaned. Ralph hung up on me?I called back and he told me wegot disconnected (liar) and I told him AGAIN I am a regular customer providing feed back he stated you are keep repeatingyourself what do you want..we have never had issues with our containers?..I explained I want just an an knowledgement that youwill review my concerns as a regular customer providing feedback., RALPH told me that I was a douche bag and hung up onme... wonderful example and no surprise his son is exactly like him.. your mother and wife should be so pleased..,disgraceful!! FYI Arlington has a separate ownership and despite geographic inconvenience we have had wonderful customer serviceand respect always! Terrible service today. I ordered subs from a very disinterested counter person. He could have cared less about my order . I... was very disappointed and will not return to D?Agostinos anytime soon. Please teach your employees how to interactprofessionally with customers. Read more
All the subs, sandwiches, and prepared foods I have eaten from here have been generous and delicious. Online ordering while... limited (Winchester location) is a welcome time-saver during the lunch rush. Read more
Had a very good Italian cold cut sandwich here while working in the area. Everything seemed to be of high quality and very... fresh, and the staff was great. Only complaint, and it's not exclusive to this store, but "hots" means real pickled hot pepperslices and not hot pepper relish. There's a difference and when I order hots I am not asking for relish. Should know by now toask I guess. Great shop, will definitely go back. Read more
I have been dying to try this place. My family and I were in the area today so we decided to drop in. There wasn?t a single soul... in there, other than the 8-10 employees standing behind the counter. The only female behind the counter greeted us with ?can Ihelp you?? We had never been before, so we needed a second to look at the deli menu. I replied with ?sorry, just a minute? whileclearly looking up reading the menu. She turned around and started mocking us to another employee. She then turned around notfive seconds later and loudly with an attitude repeated ?CAN I HELP YOU?? Then proceeded to turn back to a male employee androll her eyes. We walked out immediately. I work in customer service and was appalled at how we were treated. She made us veryuncomfortable for absolutely no reason. You should be careful who you hire to represent your business. Read more
I?ve been coming here for years, but every time I get Uber eats form here, the order is screwed up. Today I got $50 worth of... delivery, completely missing 2 bags of chips, and half the ingredients of my sandwich. The food is still good, but every time Iorder, I feel like I?m rolling the dice with whether I?ll actually get what I ordered or not.
