The food is OK but the environment is hipster-ish and snobby. When we ate there this evening no one greeted us when we came in,... we were left standing there waiting to be seated even though there were numerous waitstaff mulling around. We ordered twoentrées and two appetizers. They brought out one main course with one appetizer, left me waiting, then brought out my food andanother appetizer. The waitress seemed to be rushing us. I don’t know if I will return. Read more

Hidden gem with friendly staff and great food. We got the spicy tuna sushi, crab Rangoon, drunken noodles and Thai spicy fried... rice. Would recommend! Spice levels are on point so you may want to ask for your preferred spice level! Read more

Unfortunate dining experience at Chop Stick Café on Kent Street this beautiful Sunday evening. We were interested in grabbing... a small bite to eat and then walking around downtown, so at 7:05pm we called one of our favorite restaurants to check on theirhours. Chop Stick said they were open till 8:00pm and the kitchen closed at 7:45pm; we said we would be there in 15minutes. At 7:20pm we walked in the door and asked for a table. The person at the counter said they were full, even thoughthere was at least one open and clean table in the front of the restaurant. I said there is an open table right over there. Thehostess then spent the better part of 10 minutes telling people to check the side room for a table, and to check in the backwith the cooks. While we were waiting I mentioned to the hostess that we just called 15 minutes ago and spoke with you, and youtold us you were open until 8:00pm and the kitchen closes at 7:45pm; we came in at 7:20pm and there is a table right over therethat is open. Why can’t we sit at that open table, we just want 2 bowls of soup and some appetizers. After the hostess looksat the open table she said they were full and couldn’t fit anyone else in the restaurant. She didn’t even ask if we wantedanything to go. We left and walked to Thai Winchester on the walking mall and enjoyed a wonderful meal. Thai Winchester isopen until 10:00pm and even though they were very busy they were able to seat us immediately. Read more

Outstanding food, great wait staff and the atmosphere is very nice. The price seems spot on for the amount of food we got. I... had 2 spring rolls witch were larger than I expected, and the dipping sauce was excellent. My main Corse was the chickenmassaman curry and actually it was enough for two people, however we also ordered sushi and a a salad. All the food was amazingwith an excellent taste. Read more

So I went off reviews this time to help me to choose a lunch spot. This is where I ended up. Definitely unique surroundings and... decor. This place definitely has an extensive menu which is sometimes not a good thing. Prices are a bit high for the locationand food type. We ordered some sushi and I guess Chinese food ???????????. The sushi seemed fresh but taste less. Possiblyfrozen for a bit to long. The other food wasn’t hot by the time it arrived. Service was very slow even though not many guestswere seated. It ended up to be $93 for 2 people hmm.. yeah I won’t be back. Not sure where all the great reviews are from. Read more

So I have only visited twice and had sushi both times however I did observe food served to nearby tables which looked and... smelled great. The menu seems to be based on Thai influence. The crazy roll and tempura sushi rolls were good and I wassatisfied with the quality of ingredients used. Almost all tables were full when I arrived and when busy the service level doesdecrease a bit but not to bad just expect to be there a little longer. The building itself is well aged and likely historic butthe inside is still pleasant and comfortable, it's done well. The staff were very nice and friendly. Now i must also add somemenu options are a little on the pricy side compared to similar places in the area, for example $5 miso soup which is usually$2-3. Keep in mind this is a small local business so cost will be a bit more but if the food is fantastic then is that worth itto you? Looking forward to trying drunkin noodles on my next visit. Read more
