My wife and I were driving home to Birmingham, AL from Wellfleet, MA. We were staying at a hotel nearby and were looking to eat... a good dinner after being on the road all day. Our local Cracker Barrels have been disappointing when we have eaten there in thepast year or so. This location was not disappointing. Our food was served hot and very tasty. I had the roast beef dinnerwith 3 sides and my wife had a vegetable plate. Our waitress Joy, was absolutely wonderful!! The restaurant was clean andneat. Had dinner there last night 8/19/22 and the food and service was great! Best coleslaw I have ever ate! When the manager came... around and ask how everything was and I told him how great the coleslaw was he brought me out a to go container full + somebiscuits & cornbread to take home! Definitely will be going back there! I really felt bad for our server tho she was reallyworking hard and doing a good job but the table beside us was giving her a hard time ???? The food was AMAZING... Unfortunately our server was not. If you're going, don't ask for Paige. We ordered an appetizer and... didn't get it. I had to ask for it after we got our food. Our server simply said "ugh I always forget"... Then brought it a fewminutes later. My girlfriend's food was cold because it sat in the window (a different server ran our food). Our server alsonever brought us biscuits and it took 3 times asking for them before we finally got them... after we finished eating. She justseemed to not really care, never apologized or offer to take the appetizer we didn't get to eat off the check. We also reservedour seat on the website ahead of time but they claimed to "never get it" so we had to wait when we got there. I don't reallyhold that against them because technology sucks sometimes, tho. I've come to this location several times and this was by far theworst. I've been working in the food industry for 8 years, so I'm usually very lenient as long as our server is trying, but thelack of urgency and caring displayed today was awful. Food was delicious. The server Fran was lovely. Very content, always making sure we had everything we needed, and kept our... drinks well taken care of. Will definitely come back again because that atmosphere was great as well. Although there was aconcern up front with the person working the register. Don?t know if she was having a rough day or not wanting to work, but hercustomer service was not the best. She did treat the customers prior to me checking out with more enthusiasm. When my siblingand I approached it was a more stern/non-talkative. Some advice; treat all your customers the same. You never know how much asimple smile could just light up someone?s day. Read more

It?s been awhile since I had Cracker Barrel. I wasn?t disappointed. It was super busy but the wait was only about 15 minutes. I... love that they text you now when you?re table is available. The drink menu has been greatly expanded. I?m talking mimosas,beer, and wine! I was like WOW and way to go Cracker Barrel. Did they even have an alcoholic menu prior? The fried catfish andfried apples were delicious. I mean super as was the house salad. The breakfast was as remembered and my stepdad said the roastbeef was fantastic. I reduced one star as they were out of beignets but this wasn?t noticed until after I mentioned we hadn?treceived them yet. The waitress promptly removed them from our check. The other reason was they didn?t get my moms order correctthe first go round. However, the waitress was friendly, prompt, and accommodating to our request. Very good. Nick(St-nick) was our server. It was close to closing time and we had just got in ,we had been driving all day. He... got us seated and took excellent care of us.
