First time here and after visiting Germany this summer, we'll be back here. Sauerbraten, cabbage, spatzel were ALL very tasty. ... We knew we were in good hands when we detected an accent during the greeting. Read more

No place to eat inside. We had to eat on benches with the mosquitos . Had schnitzel. Wasn't pounded. It was thick and dry. ... The mushroom gravy was white which was a big surprise and tasteless. Everything was bland. My bill for 2 schnitzel and 2gravvies and 1 side each was almost$60. Totally not worth it. We are tourists and had to eat it there out of Styrofoam withplastic utensils that wouldn't cut anything. Maybe if you live there it is OK but if passing through skip it Read more

Small parking lot but plenty of street options. GREAT authentic German food. The sauerkraut is outstanding! It's sweet with... some type of seeds in it (poppyseed? Dark toasted sesame?). Small German grocery store with authentic German goods. Read more

I?m all over the place but on this review. There are things I liked and things not as much. The spatzle was yummy and the... mushroom sauce was to die for in fact I have been craving it since. However the schnitzel was salty, very thin and dry BUT Iwill definitely be back to try more things. I do feel that over 12$ for just a thin schnitzel with no sides is definitely overpriced and not what I order next time . The spetzle and sauce at 4$ was a fair deal ( about 1 serving) and very yummy. Itappears the specials come with sides and are likely the best value and I will try that next time. I wish the owners years ofsuccess it is good to have more variety locally ???? Read more

I thought I would give this small business a try for lunch. I love authentic German food. Unfortunately, this was... disappointing. I ordered a salad and it was shredded iceberg lettuce $7.50. Dressing was Ken's Steakhouse Dressing. TheSchnitzel Vienna was super thin and fried so hard (not edible) $12.50. It appeared the owner was cooking the food and he isfrom Germany. Not sure what's going on with the quality of the food. Read more

Just to start off, my dad was German and would make the best food growing up. I?m always skeptical of trying other German food... since I grew up with some of the best cooking. I had the Spätzle and Schnitzel with the mushroom sauce and it was absolutely todie for. Being completely honest, the Schnitzel was better than the one my dad used to make. If you love German food stop in fora fantastic bite. If you?ve never had German food, this is the best you?re gonna get in the area. The little German market isalso adorable and has some great products. Would recommend this place to everyone! Read more
