On weekends pretty much every restaurant in town is busy for breakfast so wife and decided that maybe we could get into Waffle... house pretty quick on Pleasant Valley Rd, well they were at capacity to so decided to wait but only had to wait about 10minutes. There were a total of 7 employees working the place and seemed to be in a state of organized chaos because theemployees were cooking, cleaning off tables, serving and calling out orders as fast as they could and they were rocking it. Wifeordered the Blueberry waffle and I ordered the Steak and Bacon melt platter. Wife got her order 1st then when she was half waythrough I received my order, other than that small issue with timing on the arrival of our order the food was excellent hot andfresh and prices were very good. We felt like we not only got a good breakfast but also a show because when you sit at the baryou get to watch the employees turn utter chaos into a very tasty breakfast before your eyes. I will definitely be going back totry the Steak melt bowl next time. All in all a very pleasing dining experience and the employees really rocked it, they mightneed to be a little more attentive when it comes to refills but like I said they do very good under that state of chaos. When I arrived, every seat was filled and lines were forming. Turns out Dave, a Waffle House employee, was running the... restaurant single handedly. Taking orders, cleaning tables, cooking and managing the cash register. Fortunately the patronswere an understanding group, as the wait was crazy. Kudos to Dave for juggling it all with a smile. Typical tiny restaurant. The one waitress was getting morning diners handled as efficiently as she could. So, there was no... reason to expect speedy coffee refills. She was doing everything, except cooking. Waffles and bacon could have cooked a bitmore, but in all our meals were acceptable. If in the area again, I would give them another visit. Read more
Although the menu is limited here compared to a diner, the food is very good here. The hash brown bowls are my favorite. Prices... are reasonable and the staff is friendly. The dining area is not very large, with only about a dozen tables and a counter thatcan seat about 10 customers. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. The parking lot is well sized. This location isconveniently located off Route 81 and is also close to nearby hotels and shopping. Read more
