I was there with my 4 year old granddaughter and they made her feel special. Really appreciated that! Great food, great service.

My husband's bar...came for a visit to Pa. Bartender/Waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Rest of the people NOT friendly... at all towards our son and myself. Guess if you're a local, it's fine. Not so friendly towards our son and myself! Our Bartenderwas awesome though. My son said, I don't want to come back here to his day (Frank Hermann) these people don't act like we areeven here. Read more

What a cute place! Food was really good, Barbara was amazing and took very good care of us! Big indoor area and a nice outdoor... patio. The only drawback to the outdoor area is the traffic, it can be loud sometimes. Lots of choices on the menu, the appypretzels were great! Our table ordered wings and pizza, all of it was delicious! Will definitely go back! Read more

Amazing drinks and really great bar food. Chicken wings are so crispy, it’s the only place I’ll actually eat wings from. The... decor inside is dated but they have a nice outside deck which we try to get seating at whenever possible. I wouldn’t considerthis a “date night” location, but it’s great for all other casual get togethers with all ages. Read more

It's a rustic, small town restaurant with a good bartender. There is bar, table, and booth seating. While the decor is nothing... exciting or particularly fancy, the food is tasty. The burgers were well seasoned and cooked to order. The cheesesteak and wingswere also really good. Portions are large, it's easy to share. They make good drinks and have a nice mixed drink menu. If you'relooking for a casual, small town restaurant, this is it. They also do takeout. Read more

Chalk it up to the kitchen staff where all this food originates!! I’m a local and have frequented this tavern many times and... enjoyed delicious meals but todays visit was lacking on a few levels. The chicken Parmesan cutlet was substantial but lackedseasoning and the spaghetti was average, reheated and sub par. ($16) The cheesesteak lacked taste, asked for cheese and noticednone. ($11) A couple of pieces of cheese would have made ALL the difference. The salad was fresh and topped with a niceassortment. The most disappointing was the greasy, boxed, frozen shrimp, over sauced Cole slaw and those French fries weremediocre, frozen and over fried and first time in years I added salt to my fries. ($14) I would rather have 4 FRESH BatteredSHRIMP than 9 over breaded mini variety. It’s the sign of the times when bars and taverns have to cut costs somewhere and foodinstead of alcohol always gets the short end of the stick. They present a menu that folks can stop in and dine out within thebudget although the prices do not reflect quality of food Beer is king here! Read more
