Latin Flavors was recommended as a good date night restaurant, so we gave it a try for our wedding anniversary. We were... extremely impressed with the food, staff and the ambiance. It is very upscale, but not bougie. I had a filet with garlic steakfries. My husband had the bone in ribeye with ancho chili mashed potatoes. Both were perfect in every way. Latin flavors! Delicious with its own heat twist! Bone marrow was probably the highlight of the night! Pork chop with bacon... gravy was to die for with the chipotle mash under the chop! The dessert was definitely a twist but overall unique! Read more
Saturday night, no reservation but the hostess was able to work something out and seat us quickly. Britney was a wonderful... server! She told us about the upstairs, downstairs and the specials. Husband said it was the best cocktail he had had in awhile(sorry don’t remember what he ordered) will definitely go back. Read more

First and last dining experience here. The moment we walked in the door, the hostess made us feel unwelcomed immediately since... we did not make a reservation, however we were seated rather quickly as the place was rather empty. It took about 15 minutesfor a server to appear at our table and even then it was just someone filling up the water glasses. Then about 10 minutes latersomeone finally got our drink order. The drinks took about 5 minutes to come out then the server disappeared. So, finallyafter about 40 minutes of being at the restaurant, we were finally able to order. The slow progression to get to place a foodorder was super irritating and we were about 2 seconds from leaving. The food is pricy to which we expected, but I feel it'sover priced for the portions and quality of food that you actually get. FYI, if you order Soda, it's out of a can $3 each. Teais the same price but unlimited amounts. The Caesar salads were $10 each, super small portions, barely any dressing on them. -Way over priced salads!! The meal took normal time to arrive at the table, nice presentation. I ordered the NY Strip and theouter crust was like a salt block, I had to drink a lot after each bite to mask the flavor. It was Medium/Rare as I ordered sothat was nice to see they could get the temp. correct. I think it would have tasted a lot better with a lot less salt. TheFrench fries were good, had cilantro and parm. cheese sprinkled on them-something a little different and I enjoyed them. Theserver did come ask how things were about about 1/4 way through dinner. I was scared to complain so I just ate my food anyways. My husband had the mixed grill and he enjoyed the Lamb chop the most, the sausage was very strange tasting as well as texture,but for the most part his all seemed to be cooked right. Latin Flavors is the best kept secret in Barrow County. Carlos (the manager) has continually delivered the finest chef... prepared meals to my family and last night to 100 of my employees. We rented the second floor for our Christmas party. I cannotexplain in words how great the food was or how wonderful the service was. Trust me when I say Latin Flavors is #1. Read more
Three stars - everything was decent, but not as wonderful as I would’ve expected for the prices. The octopus appetizer was... great, the scallops were good, the salmon was not what expected. Asked for a medium (pink in the middle) salmon and was servedwell done. I alerted my waitress to please let the chef know, did not send it back. The drinks were good. Very good customer service. Friendly and courteous. The coconut mojito and sangria were delicious. The dining area was very... quiet... Too quiet! It was a Thursday night though. The place was clean.
