We had a magical weekend at the Albergo Allegria.... The staff is warm, welcoming and incredibly professional. We LOVED our room... with the blue flowery wall paper and the huge fantastic jacuzzi... Management is the best. I booked two rooms. One for my sister traveling from Orlando. Then came IAN and she couldn't make the... trip. The morning of my stay my wife got COVID. The cancellation policy was quite clear but management not only was able torebook both rooms with almost no notice but did not charge me any fee. A class act. The best bed and breakfast I have stayed at!!! Hospitality was amazing. Everything you need to relax and enjoy. Jason in the... kitchen made the best pancakes with fresh whipped cream and berries, bacon was perfectly crisp and all the various teas were adelight. I will tell everyone I know. Elegant and cozy. Details from fresh lemon water to beautiful flowers on my plate andeverywhere. Just what I needed . Jack was the icing on the cake making us feel like family. We actually stayed at another property on the Windham Path but came here for the most incredible Garden to Plate breakfast!... Incredible staff. Super friendly and offered some nice local recommendations for activities. I totally live for breakfast - andthis place exceeded my expectations. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The homemade sausage! Homemade bread for toast!Homemade jelly! Whipped butter! Edible flowers decorating our plates made for a truly special summertime presentation. My fiancée and I stayed here while checking out our wedding venue in the Windham/Hunter area. The room was very clean, the... best and pillows were extremely comfortable, and check-in/out was a breeze. The breakfast restaurant was great as well! I have been coming to the Albergo since 1996. (back when Mr. Sunday the rabbit lived in his fenced in house across from the Inn)... This is by far THE BEST Inn I have ever been too. You truly feel like a member of the family during your stay. Not only are youin a beautiful area of Windham but the property is exceptionally maintained and provides a very cozy experience. There aremultiple areas to relax or hangout in other than your room at the inn as well. The food here is AMAZING. True professionalsrunning the kitchen and you will not be disappointed. If you cannot stay at the Inn I strongly encourage you to come by forbreakfast you will not regret it. If I could give more than 5 Stars for this place I really would. Since 1996 when I first cameit?s been consistently such a great experience and something I always look forward too. This place will be your second home andyou will realize why it?s called The Inn Of Happiness. Enjoy. This place is fantastic! Everyone was welcoming and gracious. The decor is beautiful. The sole downside is they only serve... breakfasts! But the food is amazing! It?s very beautiful to look at?the approach is to gift us the same kind of presentationtypically found in fine evening dining. But happily this visual beauty is outdone by the remarkable flavors and textures of thisfood. When we saw the 5.0 rating, we wondered why. I skimmed a hundred reviews or so. The ones that didn?t award a 5 complainedabout issues such as room towels and COVID arrangements. I saw zero complaints regarding food! I wish I could award them themaximum Michelin stars! This place has it all! Clearly it?s a labor of love. Don?t miss out! Notes: the bacon was orderedextra crispy. The portions are generous. We added scones, portions of which ended up joining our return home wonderful thoughthey were. Watch out for the schedule: they currently (October 2022) offer breakfast 8 to 10:30 Thursday through Monday. Read more
