Some of the better sit down Mexican food in the area. Really good salsa, guac and apps. Mains are quite large so come hungry or... be prepared to share. They're usually pretty busy so service can be a bit hot or miss sometimes. Overall worth a visit. Read more
I've eaten here numerous times. The food is good and the atmosphere is nice. It's a bit bigger inside than you might think from... the outside. You could have a big party in here and it's nicely decorated. Especially right now during Day of the Dead. I'vealso eaten by ordering through the drive-thru. The people who work here are efficient and my food has always come quickly. Theburrito was delicious and I like this place. It's a little tricky to find the entrance right now with the set up for Covid butonce inside it's nicely laid out and the ambiance is pleasant. I love the pretty patio with its classic fountain, and the food is consistently good. The chips are warm and fresh and the... guacamole is irresistible. A fine local family owns and hands-on runs the restaurant. Service is highly professional and thedrive-through is a dream - fast and tasty take-home. Eating inside, it's most fun to be on the patio or in the very cool bar,which has a great selection of mescal and tequila. I have been here twice. Both visits can be summed up as follows: Food has been excellent and has arrived fairly quickly after... ordering. I or someone in my party has had burritos, tacos, nachos, and chimichangas. All have been good. The wait staff hasunfortunately been kinda lazy. My water glass has repeatedly been empty and both times I had to wait quite a while to beacknowledged upon arrival and had to wait to pay. Today I was a bit irritated that my wife and I had to pay $2 extra to share aplate. We were not told this when we ordered and only noticed when we got home. The ambience is nice on the patio but ill haveto see if we will return. There are so many Mexican restaurants in the area... Updated review. Good food, ambience and service. Portion sizes are really generous, so if not very hungry then consider sharing or be prepared... to take home some leftovers. Margarita we had was unique but good. Ample parking and they also have drive-in ordering fortake-out. Read more
Heard good things about this place, gave it a try with some family but had somewhat of a mixed experience here. First, I will... say drinks were exceptional and the food was pretty good. That being said, I had some very strange interactions with the staff.My husband asked for a small substitution which is pretty standard, it was brought incorrectly, he simply asked them to take itback and change out the incorrect part of the order, it happens often and it wasn't done with any hostility. However; a fewminutes later 2 of the kitchen staff came out of the kitchen, pointed to our table laughing and saying that we were the tablethat made a big deal out of a wrong order...we are light skinned Spanish speaking family, so perhaps they didn't think we wouldnotice, but we did. The server acknowledged that this was rude and apologized for their behavior, but I went out of there prettycertain I would not go back nor recommend this restaurant to any friends or family.
