The food was amazing and the portions for take out were much more than expected! I had the chicken Tikka masala and the shrimp... poori! Both were exceptional, but the shrimp poori with pappad was perfection! Read more

Food was delicious and tasty. But they sometimes don’t pick the phone. So that’s need to be corrected.

Yummy food!! One of the best restaurants in CT for Indian food. I loved the Indo Chinese menu and Veg thaali. They have many... options. Especially the chicken chilli was so tasty. The Thaali comes in good quantity for two people. Read more

We went there today and were very dissatisfied with the food quality. They serve frozen foods from packets in gravy made at the... restaurant. We ordered 'Kadhai Goat' but most of the pieces were raw and uncooked. This only happens when frozen goat meat isused instead of fresh meat. When I asked why wasn't the dish cooked properly - the staff responded that they are about to closein an hour and can not replace the dish. I also ordered 'Naan' and a ' Layered paratha' - the naan was a bit sweet, and Ibelieve it wasnt fresh either and people at restaurant used the frozen bread from some store and just baked it in oven. layeredParatha was raw from inside (photographs attached). The chicken wings (tandoori style) served was juicy but the flavors wereonly on the top. These are generally served with onions dipped in vinegar or just raw onions and lemon. But at this restaurantchicken wings were served with 1 tea spoon of lettuce and an extremely small piece if carrot. The staff will not give you aplate to keep the bones or paper napkins unless you ask for - so careless. If you prefer eating frozen foods that you can buyfrom any Indian store and cook a in 5 minutes but feel lazy -- Taste of India is the right place where you will get frozen food. However if you consider eating fresh indian food - you may consider any other restaurant but not this one for sure. Rice servedare not Basmati rice as mentioned in the menu. these are some low quality small sized rice without any fragrance. The owner ofthis restaurant must be unaware of what is going on in the restaurant-- such a SHAME. Finally these guys need minimum of 18%gratuity for this type of service. Pictures attached :)...shame shame Read more

Some items were really good, like the chicken biryani. But others failed like the Rogan Josh. I rated three star as they are... pricey relative to quality and quantity. They also messed up our order but tried to make up for it as much as they could though. Read more

I went to have dinner with my friends to this place. We ordered chicken and lamb biryani. Chicken biryani was so so but the lamb... biryani was so good. It tasted like typical Indian style. I would recommend this place for lamb biryani. Ambience is good andcustomer service can be little better. Read more
