Mozza burger was Luke warm. Cheese was cold. No flavor. Also very small piece of bacon. Had asked for no tomato. That was right.
We stayed at the A&W in Windsor on the 12th August. I have never had such bad service. The crew appeared disorganized and... haphazard. As always, we ordered a veggie burger wrapped in lettuce from A&W. I was absolutely shocked how this one was made.The patty was wrapped in just a single leaf of lettuce. I've never had anything like this. And at this totally overpriced price.If we hadn't been in a hurry and already back on the highway I would have come back in and complained and asked for my moneyback. It was an outrage to sell a burger like that. In all other branches I had received a burger neatly wrapped in lettuce.Something like that shouldn't happen. I usually don't have a good experience with the wait time at this location, last night was no different but I have come to... accept that. But last night, the young man behind the counter gave me the BEST customer service I have received from any retailstore in a long time. I do not know his name. He was working Friday, may 27th around 6-7pm is when we were there. Very nice andhelpful. I have been in the customer service industry for 24yrs and have trained many employees. His attitude is exactly what isneeded and it was very refreshing. I hope you realize what you have in him, as employees like him are very hard to find. Read more
Although my 1st impression was not good as I was charged for an extra soda the manager stood up and took care of the refund... apologizing. I'm sure a mistake can happen to anyone. At the end of the day the experience and the food was good! Read more
I'm not sure if I should be embarrassed to admit it or not, but this is our regular and favourite place to stop on one of our... Sunday drives through the Valley. I just love their veggie burgers, and the fact that they were one of the first chains to startpublishing calories on their menus in plain sight on the wall. Now they have another veggie burger, the Beyond Meat burger,which is also delicious. They really do make good food from good food, so I stand by them in that, even though when I firstheard that tagline, I laughed forever. It's still memorable, so therefore it works. Read more
I was actually shocked when we got our breakfast here on Saturday. It was really fresh - even the tomatoes! - and the eggs were... cooked perfectly. Location was clean and staff was friendly. Our best A&W experience in a long time! Read more
Just leaving this comment here for those that feel the need to complain or be hateful about the dining room being closed due to... short staff that A&W can NOT control, and the reflecting drive thru times because of it. Also the lack of inventory due tosupply issues that once again....they can not control. BE KIND to your servers and appreciate the ones who ACTUALLY SHOW UP toserve you and make your food. ????
