We just had dinner and I am absolutely thrilled with the service, the food and everything about our visit!!! Lacey was our... server, and she was an absolute delight. Not only was she great at explaining all the wing options, she went over and abovemaking sure we always had a drink and were completely satisfied with our food. She pointed out the yummy new sauce in the carryall on the table which we loved as well! I have been to many places to eat lately, and by far this has been the best serviceI've had in a very long time! Great Job Lacey and thanks John Max for the great experience! We had an excellent diner with friends! The service was above and beyond extraordinary! Even though we paid we still stayed at... the table and after Ana hour got hungry for desert. Maybe you’ll say that is normal, but here was above expectation! We havebeen served with the same curtesy and politeness like anyone else …. No one rushed us out because we finished dinner !! Lauzon Rd. location. The food took awhile to come out but it was good. Very large outdoor patio…lots of space. QR code menu so... make sure you have an active mobile device to view the menu online. Vaccination passport is required to eat inside therestaurant…one is not needed to eat on the patio. Read more

Edit:. This review for Dougall location not Lauzon. We've been here many times over the years and always been happy with the... food and the service. This time we had Nate who did a great job . We order the jmax platter and a buffalo chicken wrap. Thewrap came with a side and was $15.99 which is pretty reasonable. I did notice that it's $29.99 for 16 wings which is four orfive dollars more than some other places I've been. For example all star wings in Vaughan is $25. They do have a two for one daywhich makes it a much better deal Both the platter and the wrap were much bigger than we were expecting even the side Ceasarsalad was pretty large and had lots of cheese. All in all always very happy with John max. A large spacious interior and bar.Lots of room and while it gets busy on wing night , it's usually not a wait to get seated. Read more
