The staff members were doing their best, but it was clear they did not have enough training and the place looks like a... warehouse. The bar area has no bottles of any kind on display, only boxes and boxes..... Same corner where they used to makesushi. Food was average, as expected ( we used to go there before the pandemic only when we were really in a rush to grabsomething to eat). The last time we went here was 5 years ago and the food wasn't very good. This afternoon we decided to give MingWah a second... chance...what a mistake! The food was warm at best and not fresh at all. Because we didn't want to be rude we tried to eat whatwas on our plates. Unfortunately we just could not stomach it further. The best part was the lemon water and fruit. Verydisappointing that we paid $50.00 for tap water and a slice of watermelon. We pray that no one gets sick as a result. Read more

We enjoyed lunch there yesterday. It is hands down the best Chinese food we’ve ever eaten (having lived in Ottawa decades). ... Though personally not a fan of buffets (because I feel it encourages people to overeat), the value especially for lunch iscertainly there. The food tastes amazing and served at the right temperature. We tried a variety including the Wonton soup(excluding sushi dishes) and were not disappointed. I had 2 bowls of Wonton soup and 1 plate from a single bunker. Went here to rekindle some old memories with this place. Used to be awesome as a kid. Not sure if nostalgia works in its... favour, but this place as absolutely awful. Food was so bad, it actually achieved the job of not making me hungry anymore, justnot in the way expected. Waited for fresh portions, same deal. Worst dining experiencing in quite some time.
