I love Popeyes. Out of all the chicken places I've eaten at, this is by far the best. The only thing I don't like is the size of... the chicken pieces. They are rather on the small size. Oh my God! I've been waiting for this invitation to post because I am SO EXCITED to share my experience. Let me put this in... perspective. A very large McChain recently started selling a Crispy Chicken sandwich. The ads looked compelling and I lovechicken so I thought I'd try it. It was OK but it looked NOTHING like the poster. Flat, thin, dark brown patty lookedunappetizing. I asked whether it always looked that way and got my answer when I bought another (virtually identical) sandwich aweek later. Today I wanted to try the relatively new Church's chicken right across the street from Popeyes. The line was longand there were no empty tables so I went to Popeyes instead. Normally I order a 3 or 4 piece dinner but the photo of theirChicken Sandwich Classic looked delicious (you'd think I'd learn not to trust poster photos). Well, I got the sandwich and itwas HUGH and looked EXACTLY LIKE THE POSTER. And it was simply delicious!!! I've been a fan of Chick-fil-A since they came toWindsor and will probably continue to go there, but this Popeye's sandwich is hands down the best fast food chicken sandwichI've ever tasted. The restaurant was very hot to a point that me and my daughter were feeling nauseous. Women bathroom's toilet wasn't working and... was gross. The food was not the same either. Every thing was excessively salty. We spent over $100 on our family meal. We werevery disappointed. The only good thing about this restaurant was the staff. Had the new 5pc chicken for $12. It is value for money and totally worth every penny. Just one thing, the chicken fresh from the... fryer has a little too much oil. So if the chicken you order has been allowed to sit for a little while then it just tastes thebest and you can actually enjoy the flavour. Other than that 10/10 to this place. Read more
