I've always been impressed with the drive thru at this A&W, but today I came into the restaurant. Even more impressive. The... food was delicious and the root beer was even better out of the frosty mug, but most impressive was the staff. Not only werethey extremely pleasant and friendly, but they were efficient and seemed to be having a good time despite the fact they were atwork. They appeared to be well staffed, which may be the result of the management creating a good work environment. Thefacility has recently been renovated and it was in great shape and extremely clean. Staff was constantly cleaning and pickingup trash, etc. Overall, great place and I will certainly return here often! Read more
This is a great A&W. Food was prepared well. Hot and fast. The manager was remarkable. He was extremely friendly with just the... right amount of playfulness. I gave it a five-star because my service there was fantastic my granddaughter asked me to pick up her some food and when I got... there I see she didn't tell me how many pieces of chicken she wanted nor the sauce or if she wanted fries with her meal she justsaid chicken and a root beer and a guy there was so kind of so nice he was going through with it and he was just laughing withme he had the best sense of humor I love that he had me laughing . I wish I had have gotten his name he's a black guy he wasreally nice so if you are out of this A&W restaurant stop in . Off of 51... my son and I stopped at A&W on his way to work, likeI said they have a very professional worker there he heard my voice and remembered it and came to greet us at the window and atthat time I was just telling my son about what had happened when I came the first time. this is what I mean about good servicegood people I will stop there again just to see if they will remember me again???????????????? way to go A&W keep up the goodwork!!! We have been coming here for years each time we pass through to get to the Northwoods. The food is always great, best root beer... and clean space to stop.
