The service was great! The man behind the counter was friendly and inviting. I got the pepper steak and rice but instead of... cabbage, the man offered me spicy veggies. I guess it's something new that they are trying and it did not let me down. Theflavor just hits for me and when you mix it with the rice and whatever protein option you decide on, it give the whole dish aspicy crunch. It is pretty spicy though, so if you aren't into heat, maybe be careful. The pepper steak is tender and the gravyis nice and thick. I got a beef patty as well because I can't leave that place without one! The turnpike has plenty of fast foodand american food so it's nice to have something different! Read more
Delicious meal oxtail with rice, beans and steam cabbage. Not only that but the server was so friendly and he made us feel right... at home. And not least the bathroom was the most cleanest bathroom I have ever been to. So if you like to eat good go check itout you won?t be disappointed ?????? Read more
Very good. I usually don't get the sauce because it's too spicy for me. Their sauce was nice and mild. More rice would be... welcomed. So far I have had the oxtail, buttered fish, and chicken. All are good. This is my stop when coming home from theairport or picking someone up ???? Read more
New to Connecticut. From Western Mass. was visiting windsor, CT and found ? Jamacian kitchen? on the DoorDash app. The first... time I ordered I had the pepper steak with rice and peas (beans) and it was excellent. This time I ordered to much to say andsince they didn?t have cabbage she personally called and told me and with out me asking she put in an extra ((Jerk chicken Mac &cheese )) so just check out the pics for yourself. Saw this spot and had to try it. It pains me to say, I didn?t enjoy any of my meal. The curry chicken along with the rice and... peas was pretty bland. The cabbage was ok. Now the fritters, the fritters was nothing like I ever had before. They had a thickmealy flour coating and no codfish in it at all. I broke the fritter into tiny pieces and couldn?t find not a bit ofcodfish?very disappointing, it also had a weird taste. I hope they work on improving the fritters, I would love to see thisrestaurant succeed. Read more
I live in AR and every time I work in Windsor I eat here ALL week and they never disappoint! I even brought my coworkers here... and they all wanted to eat here every night! The food is off the chain! Customer service is also off the chain! They have neverdisappointed me! Read more

My wife and I tried Jamaican Kitchen for the first time and the food was absolutely amazing. I had probably the best jerk... chicken I've ever eaten and equally delicious fried chicken.
