Of all the Chinese restaurants in town is is my favorite place. Depending on what’s going on with Covid-19 they do have a... dining area which could be open or closed depending on the state. There are all kinds of different appetizers, combinations ofmeals along with separate items and if that isn’t enough when you walk in if you look up they have a bunch of specialtyplatters. Prices are very reasonable and food is packed in both paper cartons and plastic containers which allows easier storageof leftovers. That’s the only problem I have with the place is that they have to much on the menu so I end up spending in theballpark of $50 or so and end up with about 3 days of food. I keep forgetting to turn that menu over to the combination mealswhich would probably save me some money but then again when your getting 3 or more meals out of it why complain. First, the negative reviews are puzzling. The new menu pricing is at least 2 months old and lists the half chicken at $9.95.... All restaurants have raised prices since costs have skyrocketed. Second, the portions are generous. Their roast pork dishes arequality. We've had it in many types of dishes. The lady who takes your order is efficient and friendly. She's made changes forus willingly. What is described as abrupt is trying to get your order to the Cook who can begin to prepare it for you so you canpick it up quickly. Items are fresh and sometimes they sell out. That indicates a turnover of ingredients so every dish isfresh. There are different styles of Chinese cooking depending upon the region. It's like those in New England complain aboutthe pizza served in other areas of the country. Different doesn't mean wrong. We also visit other restaurants but tend to goback to Moon Star. Read more
I usually don't write reviews but this one it's necessary. Lady at front hang up the phone on us , very rude attitude and the... food very expensive for such minimal portion. Definitely not a recommended place ! If you have a bad attitude fixed first, thanopen a public business!! Period!! Read more
Lady on the phone and the delivery driver were nice. The food is horrible, do not buy from here. I had half fried chicken and... they charge you $10 when the menu says $7. The chicken was like 2 days old and they put it in the rice container which made theskin soggy from the steam. The egg roll was also old almost like chewing rubber. Stay away they will overcharge you and the foodis nasty. Read more
They are a terrible place. I got food poisoning from them before from eating their food and a lot of their food does not taste... as it should, an example being their beef steak does not taste at all like it should, it has a kind of chemical after taste toit as if cleaning supplies were added to it.
