On Oct 20th I messaged Smitty's FB page asking if they took weekend reservations. They replied asking me to call them, so I did.... I don't remember who I spoke with, but I specifically asked if they took weekend morning reservations, to which she said yes,they take reservations all day - I booked us in for Oct 22nd for my birthday celebration. On Oct 22nd our large group arrivedfor our reservation. However, we were greeted by the staff saying they do not take weekend reservations, and even though my namewas marked in their reservation book, they could not accommodate. They never offered any solutions like splitting our group orpushing tables together etc..., even after talking with the manager, they basically said there?s nothing they could do. We hadto leave hungry and find a different restaurant to accommodate our large group for my birthday, very disappointed with my firstexperience at the new Smitty?s. Update: The owner reached out to me personally, very apologetic for the miscommunication andoffered to have a meal on them to makeup for my bad first experience. Thank you for taking the time to discuss this matter, Ireally appreciate it. My second visit went a lot smoother. The staff were friendly and the food came out quickly. Enjoyed a delicious supper today, we ordered take-out but are looking forward to dining in for wing night in the near future.... The take-out containers are great, the food was fresh and had great flavor! Staff was pleasant and very accommodating for allour meal preferences. Looking forward to coming back for wing night! I believe the cooks here need a refresher on how to cook poached eggs for Benedicts. After 20 mins of them saying they will... replace the eggs that were completely cooked, I get a sorry and an offer for a $10 coupon. But sorry, I went there to eat when Iwas hungry with my family, not to redeem a coupon on a later date. Read more
Hey sorry that I cant give a good review. The atmosphere was terrible as in way to bright and not cozy at all it is completely... different then what it was in the mall. The servers are inexperienced and the portion of food was very small especially thecheese shareable with dipping we only got like seven for 10 bucks. Was sadly not a good experience. We attended the soft opening lunch on Thanksgiving Monday. The staff (Terry was our server) were all doing a great job at... keeping the guests happy. I thought the burger was excellent and the fries were crispy and hot. What's not to love. Welcome backto Winkler, Smitty's! Read more
Service was not great. Hostess was hanging out in the kitchen. Waited to be seated. Ordered breakfast and food wasn't good.... Shredded hashbrowns were undercooked and soaked in oil. Meat included in skillet was burnt. Partner has ceasar salad and it waswarm. Club house sandwich dried out and over toasted. Servers were no where to be found. Wasn't even a busy evening.
