My first visit to Mino and I have to say I surprised in a good way. If you come early there is no problem getting a table. I... ordered the fried artichoke and mixed fried seafood which only had calamari and shrimp. The shrimp was little cold and overallit was ok. The artichoke could have been little less cooked but it was good. For dinner the risotto was ok and little to lemonybut over all was good. The service was good and polite but again it was early in the evening. Overall I was happy with the food. Read more
Best restaurant on the north shore. Great Italian food, try the burrata appetiser. The pasta is excellent. We had their sausage... pizza and the tagliatelle with pancetta and Chili. OMFG it was awesome. Great ambience. Great service. Cannot recommend highlyenough. Read more
This is the best restaurant ever!! As we were entering it started to rain outside, as I walked in I noticed that the floor was a... little slippery, and by the time that we were seated gabby (hostess) and the other waiters/waitresses had put mats around therestaurant. I assume to ensure their customers safety. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food, as it is excellent.Right away the staff are able to assist whenever you are in need of something, wether it’s a clean set of silverware, a newplate, or anything else. They are able to adapt to most peoples food choices, including a special drink, or a food choice foryounger kids. All of the staff are incredibly kind. It is insane how incredibly run this establishment is. I’m very glad tohave this restaurant in winnetka, let alone the north shore. By far one of the best restaurants in all of Chicagoland. What a gem ! Large patio (fills up by 6pm). Expertly executed Italian dishes. We tried 5 appetizers and loved every one of them.... At the tables around us, pasta looked amazing. Very nice wine list, focusing on Italian wines and some nice craft cocktails.Impeccable service. The only complaint I had was that when we ordered wine by the glass, the bottle may have been opened a whileago. Otherwise, excellent restaurant - highly recommended. Read more
Excellent food, service is always top notch, owners are super friendly and open to feedback. They change the menu every 3-4... months, so I come here about twice a year to see what new delicious food they have thought up. Great for a date spot or a group,and the outside patio is really nice during the warmer months. Read more
