The food is okay. The server was very kind to my elderly mother who was cold, and let my mom wear her sweater while we were... dining. The restaurant is very cold in the heat of the summer and I suggest taking a blanket with you. I was cold as well whichmade the dining experience less than perfect. I was shivering and my food got cold very fast. I'm sure the temperature is set toaccommodate servers who are working up a sweat while doing their job, but it was incredibly uncomfortable and we were unable toenjoy our dinner while shivering and blowing our noses. Applebee?s is easily one of my family?s top 3 favourite restaurants to eat at, but tonight it became our top favourite due to... the amazing service that Esther B gave us. She was very attentive and accommodating. Her demeanour was warm & welcoming and herenergy was extremely contagious. It wasn?t just our table that noticed how wonderful of a waiter she is- I noticed all of hertables were happy & smiling. I look forward to seeing her again soon! I absolutely love this Applebee's on Regent in Winnipeg MB. It's the second time there. It reminds me of the TV show Cheers... where even if they have never met you they treat you like you are a regular; like everyone knows your name. As a recently outgender fluid male to female with my wife and family celebrating our daughters graduation of kindergarten. Sharing hair tips withstaff and loving the inclusive nature of the location. Our reservation got mixed up and they still made it work! If you want togo somewhere you will feel welcome and comfortable this location is where to go. Though we ate indoors this time it has a lovelypatio as well. We don't go out often but we will be back to Applebee's on Regent. Took my teens out for dinner. Their first time at Applebees. Food was wonderful, service was great, the whole experience was... 10/10. Our server, Mckenzie? It was her 3rd shift, she was absolutely fantastic, there was no shift in her energy, even in themide of a dinner service peak. Read more

Two stars because we were seated right away on a Friday evening. We ordered meals for the toddlers while ordering drinks cause... they?re kids and don?t sit still for long and that was good, their food came quickly. The 4 adults waited an hour and a half forour food after ordering. We feel the server forgot to put the order in but didn?t want to admit it. By the time we ate the kidswere squirrly and it went downhill from there. Read more
