Emmm, I could say it was a disappointed dinner experience. The price it was high for such rolls like these in small portions,... but it taste ok. The deep fried soft shell crab was a disaster to try, and it cost $15. It was my first time to be here, and Idon't know where all these high five comments came from. Service was fine. Read more

We got lost on our way here, but we called the restaurant and the person answering the phone very kindly directed us on how to... get there :-) Not very busy. Food came pretty fast after ordering! Food was great and very tasty?I liked the Spicy Ben themost. The Tuna Tataki was also really good!!! A little on the more expensive side, but that?s just sushi. Our server was verynice! Read more

The food here was absolutely divine and very affordable! We started with the beef gyoza and vegetable tempura; both were... delicious. Next we enjoyed the caterpillar roll and unagi combination. The banana tempura was the perfect ending to the meal andI'll be thinking about it for a long time to come. Read more

My most favorite sushi restaurant in the city. Many sushi restaurants have come and gone over the years, and many favorites are... no longer around. But Blufish is still here. Even through the pandemic, their food through delivery has continued its highstandards. You can tell a lot about a sushi restaurant by the quality of their sashimi. Any amateur can take canned tuna androll it into maki, but it takes a qualified, experienced chef to prepare and serve sashimi at the highest standards. I'm nochef, but I know quality sashimi when I taste it. I've tasted amazing sashimi, terrible sashimi, and everything in between.Blufish places high as amazing sashimi. Despite my compliments about their delivery standards, dining in the restaurant is stillbeyond measure. Anybody who hasn't done so simply must. Service is accommodating, the environment is cozy and warm, and the foodtastes best when it is freshly prepared. If you are a sushi aficionado, you owe it to yourself to give Blufish a try. You willkeep coming back like I do! Read more

Celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary and had dinner at Blufish, We ordered a lot of food and tried some of the more pricey... offerings hoping that we can get some good quality sushi since we are paying more but?.. this place has one of the worst sushirice that I have had in a sushi restaurant. It does not even taste like it was seasoned sushi rice but plain, cold and a bittough rice with raw fish on top. Any sushi lover will understand how important the sushi rice is but since this place hassuperstore quality sushi rice and charges a premium is a sin. Part of our order was 4 pieces of Red Maguro, at 4 bucks each itshould be good right? It was just ok and if you notice in the photo 1 of the red maguro was significantly smaller than the rest.So not only do they serve bas sushi rice but are skimping on the fish! There was nothing nothing outstanding in what we tried, even the edamame was soggy though I did like the cucumber side dish. Overall if I was going to spend this much again on sushi Iwould no doubt go to Edokko instead. People who prefer rolls might like Blufish as there was a lot of skip orders, I just theyhad better sushi rice on their orders. For my money I would look else where. Another thing to note is they include White Tuna(Fake Tuna) in their Chirashidon?.this fish, also know as butter fish and escolar causes gastrointestinal irritation and has alaxative effect so avoid it! Blufish came as a highly recommended location for sushi. Going with the sashimi bento, I expected high quality to match the... price. The inclusion of a water/ice pack to keep the sashimi cold was a clever, caring inclusion that kept the meat at itsfinest. Other than that, I felt most of the meal average. The rice, the sashimi, the miso soup, the edamame and various sides...it was all just ok and felt like a chore to get through. Maybe it's a take out thing and dining in-restaurant would lead to abetter experience? I'll keep investigating other locations, but may return to try the maki, hot offerings, and lauded atmospherewhen circumstances permit. Read more
