I will go out of my way to come back. I met some locals who referred me. I first met a gentleman named Jesse who was dressed... sharp and went out of his way to make sure we had a great table. Jesse even took some time to provide some of his favoritedishes. Our host Blue was also dressed sharp and extremely attentive to our needs. She went over the menu and made somesuggestions. The ambience of the place, the service and the food were a hit and that is hard to do. We had the calamari which Ifelt was made fresh and reminded me of a Southern style spice. The Arancini = comfort food. Perfectly seasoned cooked rice, madeinto a ball with some cheese in the middle and fried! The ceviche was served with pita bread vs chips and the tomato sauce wastasteful and reminded me of hummus. Paloma drinks were crisp and refreshing. Now last but not least was the Pickerel Frittowhich was like a wizard meeting poutine. Fries with a sweet and sour vibe. As the time went on, it got incredibly busy, but theservice did not go down. Spent a delightful evening at the Cibo Waterfront cafe. Got lucky to get the patio w the view. Service was very satisfying. Food... was delicious..we got the Margherita pizza, Entree Salmon and to share got Pickerel Fritto. And obviously there?s always a lilplace for dessert so we got the Triple Layered Dark Chocolate Cake ???? I mean amazing food w amazing view, what more could youask for?! ???? Our son and daughter-in-law had their wedding reception here last night. Exceptional staff, very accommodating and friendly.... Stunning views of the river and towards Provencher Bridge area. My partner & I had dinner reservations and were sat at a window as we had requested. The wait staff were attentive but not... intrusive. We shared an arancini which was very good. We then both had the spaghetti carbanara and we both enjoyed it, howeverI did have to ask for the missing red chili flakes for mine. We were too full for dessert! Read more
Awesome river side restaurant and bar with great views of the downtown exchange district. Chris our server was great and the... service was spot on. The only minor issue was I had the steak and beet salad which I ordered the steak medium rare and it wasmedium. Great atmosphere and a fantastic old renovated building. Read more
Nice place right off the river. Trendy and fairly casual nice place to eat with family or friends. Small menu which is good so... don?t have to wrestle and try to figure out what to choose. Cibo Waterfront Cafe This cafe is located right behind Mere hotel on Harbour Front Drive. On Sunday the parking on the street... is free. In the afternoon there was ample spots to be had. This cafe is quite beautiful and has a classic urban feel. I loverhe high ceilings and large windows. The layout has an airy and classic feel to it. The historic area with the Red Riveroffered many great views from inside. Our server was wonderful and friendly. We had our drinks and orders taken promptly. Themenu may seem a bit light on choices but what they make is really good. The double pepperoni pizza has superb. The crust wasgreat, light and airy, chewy but not tough. The cheese and sauce was so very good. One of the best tasting pizzas I've had inawhile. If you like pepperoni pizza this place is for you. Read more
Amazing vegan food, best cocktails in the city. Less than 5 stars because 2 cocktails costs more than an entree which we found a... little outrageous ($13-$15 for one drink). Nevertheless, it was a great experience. Read more
