Best pasta place in town! I love their creamy sauce and salad, tho it might be salty for some people, it tastes just enough... flavorful for me. Their portions are HUGE so we took some back home. Will def return! Read more

Nice place for dinner. Inside is a bit cramped with tables very close to each other. I had the lasagna and it was a very big... portion! Read more

Lovely dining experience at this restaurant. The decor is unique and interesting - feels like you might be in Italy. We had... Gnocchi alla Sorrento with mozzarella and parmigiano cheeses; Pollo alla Fiorentina - chicken stuffed with spinach and fetacheese with spaghetti, and Pollo alla Principesa - chicken with mushrooms, asparagus and mozzarella on spaghetti. Really greatcombinations of ingredients in all our meals. The asparagus was cooked perfectly. The plates were quite large and 2 of us hadenough to take home afterwards. It was our first time at this restaurant. Our server was friendly and attentive andpersonable. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone that enjoys a great Italian meal. Lots of menu options from pizza, pasta, entrees, seafood, salads and appetizers. They also had an extensive wine list, cocktails, liquers, aperitifs, digestifs, specialty coffees and beers. Parking is available on Corydon and the side streets in this great neighborhood. Read more

Incredible service! Food came out fast and server was very attentive despite it being busy. Seating inside is very comfortable... and some booths are private if you want a more intimate experience. Food is great and exactly what you would like expect from afamily owned Italian restaurant. I had seafood pasta, calamari and bruschetta. The pasta was delicious and the seafood wasn?t?overly fishy tasting. Their version of bruschetta is more of a cheese toast and very filling. The calamari was OK and lightlybreaded and a little rubbery. Maybe it was cooked too quick. I would of also liked tzatziki to be included. Overall it was agreat experience and I can see why they are so popular. Read more

I was told this place was really good so I finally got a chance to go check it out. The place looks really nice both inside and... outside. The waitress was nice but, the food was too salty. I went with a friend and we thought the same thing, also it was kindof dry and lacked taste, I feel they just dropped a bunch of salt to ?make it taste good? without adding any other seasoning toit. We also had salad and that was the best part tbh pretty basic tho, lettuce, onion, cherry tomatoes and olives. I?m not sureI?m giving it another try because it?s not that expensive but it?s not cheap either. Portions were somewhat big so we had totake a box home. Read more

Wow! Was told of this great place. It was our 43rd anniversary and I love Italian food. Loved the Christmas music and the... waitress was awesome. My pasta was really good and my husband had chicken Parmesan with the side of spaghetti, his spaghettinoodles were sour, now I understand these are difficult times for restaurants, but keeping pasta that long, they did make freshto replace but I noticed the sour smell as soon as I went to try a fork full. Makes me wonder, the cook should have smelt ittoo. Was looking forward to dessert that I heard they had the best, nope, didn?t make any . So not sure if I?ll try again, wedon?t live in Winnipeg, so all around disappointing. Sorry Read more

We hadn?t tried in 10 years. This was easily the best Italian gravy in Winnipeg aka red sauce. The chicken parm was amazing and... the spaghetti with tomato sauce was amazing. The tortellini with Alfredo was soupy but amazing. The pasta with veggies andsausage was very oily and not the winner here. We are excited to return and try everything. Will update my review. Also calamarilooks like onion rings. I prefer cute up and imperfect shapes and pieces. . Read more

Going here for lunch was a great experience. The portions were huge and I ended up taking my pasta home. The pina colada was not... as sweet as I would have liked but with how hot it was, I didn't mind. Evrrything taste delicious and fresh. The service wasalso wonderful. Our water was constantly refilled without having to ask and our waitress checked to make sure we enjoyed thefood.I docked a point for just some insignificant things. We sat outside because tables inside had been reserved. However theinsects outside were crazy. I agree they can't control insects but that made my visit slightly uncomfortable. Overall, I woulddefinitely go again. Read more
