We had a great time over there. Staffs were friendly and the environment was amazing. The food tasted great. Parking is also... available. The dessert was not that great. Price seems fair. Being a chain of restaurant, their food is much as you'd expect - the ribs are quite good, and their signaturebarbecue sauce is... excellent and the Kickin’ Shrimp is always my favourite.The service is pretty standard, with no problems, but nothing extraspecial. I went Tony Roma's Pembina Winnipeg yesterday evening with my friends to chat and relax after a big meal at another... restaurant... The drinks and chicken wings were ok, but the bad thing was that the waitress didn't provide a proper service.Say, she didn't smile, not even fake ones, and even worse she acted like we owed her some money.. It's true that we didn't ordera lot and sat and chatted for a few hours, but so is this not welcomed at Tony Romas? The waitress came and interrupted us manytimes by asking us if we were finished and ready to pay????!!! Come on, do we really look poor or what??? She never asked if weneed any more water or service, but just wanted us to pay asap... I DO NOT LIKE THIS KIND OF THING... I go to restaurants a lot,no matter regular or fancy high end ones, and I was barely treated like this... If you, as a waiter or waitress, were busy, youcould just leave us and mind you own things since we didn't bother you that much, huh???... But frequently asking you customersto finish up and pay when your restaurant is very empty is like you are asking me to get out!! I think it might be just herproblem, cause I was treated relatively nicely by other staffs... It was a terrible terrible experience... I feel like it was adiscrimination because of my race or something I don't understand.. Making me sick..???????????????????? One of my friendstreated us and paid the bill and, of course, the tips... Husband and I booked a table on a Saturday night. Seated quickly and service was friendly and prompt. Our cocktails were... delicious and cold. Caesar salads crisp and flavourful. And my beef ribs were amazing. I could only finish one. The others willbe lunch tomorrow. Meat fall-off-the-bone tender and sauce sweet and tangy. I had my birthday dinner here during a busy evening. Luckily we made reservations a week beforehand so we didn't have to wait... long to be seated. The wait for our food was around an hour; appetizers & beverages took some time too, but that was to beexpected with the amount of customers. Our server Victoria was very friendly and accommodating to our table despite how chaoticit felt that night (you almost had to yell to be able to hear at some points). The atmosphere was nice and it's a good place tomeet with people for a casual dinner with enough options to satisfy everybody. There was a wide variety of beverages on themenu. I ordered a martini which was good, although a bit on the expensive side. For appetizers, I ordered the fried calamari butfound it to be way too deep fried. I mostly tasted oil and no squid. I ordered the original back ribs with a loaded baked potatoand seasoned broccoli on the side. The sides didn't really stand out, but the ribs were VERY good (one of the best in thecity). Tony Roma's is a safe option to go out for dinner if you're going with a group of people. Plenty of options, food wasgood, nice atmosphere, good location with enough parking, and service was friendly. Definitely would come back here again to trysomething new! Read more
