Great food, awful service. I tried the bison and future soup and it was great, but the waiter (who was in jeans and I assume is... the owner) was really rude when we paid and said that he would not accept my foreign credit card (which did was accepted by themachine once we tried), he even pulled it from my hand. Felt a bit discriminated. This is the worst service I've experience inWinnipeg since I arrived... but the bison was good! Read more
Unbelievably tasty boutique restaurant on Academy! So tasty I went twice last week. I had the pickerel cheeks, the bison steak... and apple crumble. For me to leave a restaurant full is rare but that's because a lot of food these days is filled withpreservatives. This is REAL FOOD so it fills you up. The tastes are unbelievably fresh. I've never had Juniper slaw before andnow that I have, I wish it was this instead of Frank's that was on everything. Cooked to perfection, great ambience, helpfuland wonderful staff. First time trying this restaurant and did so as takeout. The food was incredible! I had the gnocchi and the flavours all worked... so well together. When I am in town again I will definitely try something else from here. Highly recommend!! Read more
Excellent, we hosted our staff Chistmas party here. The food was outstanding, everything was amazing. Scot the owner was great... to deal with and really helped us set up a menu, with choices, that all complemented one another. The staff were friendly andvery attentive. We had 26 guests and all raved about the food, service and comfort of the restaurant. Read more
