I have been going to Gondola on McPhillips for years as I live a five minute drive from that location. I will never go there... again. Several weeks ago I saw a Tiktok for the 3735 Portage location and the pies looked amazing. It's a 40 + minute drivethere and back, but I figured it was worth a chance, if for no other reason, but to see if the amount of toppings shown onTiktok are really standard or if they just load them up for the Video. Without exaggeration, my pizzas had double the toppingsthat I would normally get at the McPhillips location. Aside from that, the team was so friendly! The young lady taking cash wasextremely pleasent, both cooks were awesome. The Tiktok cook went above and beyond, with a bonus cake for dessert! Thislocation is the Gondola I remember from my youth. Got a thin crust pizza didn't care for any of the ingredients. Sauce tasted too pepperie, crust had an odd consistency, it was... fully cooked but still doey, (idk if it was proofed enough before put in the fridge) only thing I really enjoyed was the cheese. Read more

Pizza is extremely overpriced for the quality of product. Ordered for the first time in awhile and will definitely be the last.... Crust was so thin it was basically pizza toppings in cheese, great if you're trying to watch your carbs I suppose. But no sauceat all on the pizza and had zero flavour, just of the canned toppings. 22 pizza down the street has 100x more flavour and betterquality for half the price. Most amazing experience! I live on the other side of the city but ever since visiting here I refuse to order from anywhere else.... The pizza speaks for its self being cooked to perfection with outstanding flavour but it?s the staff that pushes my satisfactionover the top. Every time I go there I?m always welcomed by the staff and no matter how busy they are, they somehow always manageto make me feel valued as a customer by indulging in conversation and just showing off their A1 customer service (which is rarefor a pizza spot).
