The friendliness of the staff is only surpassed by the delicousness of the food in this attractive, modern, smaller restaurant.... The flavouring of each dish is unique, delicious, and well adapted to our North American context while honouring the Korean andJapanese traditions. I'm not usually much of a sushi eater, but really enjoy many of their Sushi rolls, as well as their beefand chicken dishes. This was a nice place. It's small, max seating 26 according to the LC certification, outdoes a lively take out. The main... entrance faces the food mart, but there is additional parking at the rear and they'll let you in the back door if you buzz. Wedrove some friends and their bunny for a veterinary visit and went out looking for dinner while they waited. JC Sushi wasconvenient, but they were also fast friendly and reasonably priced as well as very tasty. We had the thick noodle shrimp andthe thin noodle shrimp, both of which were very tasty. A side of tempera veg topped it off quite nicely. The food was fastand arrived hot. Took my wife and 11 month old daughter here for the 1st time on Valentines Day. "A little" on the pricey side compared to other... sushi restaurants we've been to, BUT wow the quality of the food was probably the best I've ever had in Winnipeg. Size of therolls were fairly small compared to other places, also special rolls only came in 5 pieces. But the quality and tastes totallymakes up for it. Awesome food, super friendly service. I would have rated 5 stars but the restaurant was pretty undersized.About 5 large tables in a fairly small room. Didn't help having the baby's high chair blocking the waitresses way serving othercustomers. But overall loved the food, the service, and location. Read more
