JUNE 5,2022 ???? We had company from Calgary Alberta and another relative had suggested to them to go the Marigold on Inkster... as a choice for dinner. OMG ??????????????????????????????????????? THE WORST, WORST! Food I believe I?ve ever (not) eaten. Iwould NOT describe that food as Chinese Food !! All the ?meat? products were the same colour. The shrimp was definitely cocktailshrimp with the TAILS & not! Breaded shrimp. Fried Rice? White rice with a few green onions and CORN. No veg on our combinationplates??! Greasy. Tasteless or rather everything tasted the same. The Veal: a joke; paper thin pale yellow horrible. I couldn?tsay anything at the moment because I was paying & didn?t want to embarrass our company BUT FOR $71 I WIIL BE CALLING THERETOMORROW ( COULDNT get thru today ????) My partner and I were both sick after eating 5he food. We had combination #1 from the menu. We had ordered takeout and paid... almost $30 for the food. In the take out bag was no utensils or napkins. When we asked the staff at the restaurant for plasticforks and napkins the extremely rude women at the cashier told us they aren't included with take out food. If we wanted somewould be 10cents for each napkins and plastic utensil. She also said every restaurant and food court in Winnipeg was chargingthe same now. I knew that wasn't true and told her so. She rudely replied yes they are. Me and my husband just couldn't believehow rude she was. We had just paid almost $30 for our food which in the combination plate turned out to be mostly just rice.. Went there a few years back and it was okay so decided to try it again. Food is average, run of the mill, and slightly better... than the stuff ordered from the mall food courts. Sad to add that their fried rice lacked soy sauce and peas/ carrots so I addedthem next day in a fry up. Their spring rolls had to be put in oven for a few extra minutes to crisp them up. Didn't care fortheir deep fried chicken and shrimp as it had an off pudding aftertaste. NO fortune cookies ( spent 67.00 pre tax) either ????. Read more
Ordered for pick up and asked 3 times before I paid if order was correct as price was off, she assured me over and over again it... was and as I?m ordering for my parents I wanted to ensure it was right?. It 100% was not?.she then wanted to still charge me forwrong food and charge me for what I ordered in addition?a supervisor came and let me know I needed to wait additional 15 mins?no offer of compensating the rice which should be included.
