Over-all, I'd honestly say you can't really get a better experience @ a McDonald's than this place. FAR better than the... McDonald's on Ness Ave. @ Moray St. We've had literally more orders go wrong than correct at that location. Not trying to spredhate, it just gets frustrating. So it was covid outbreak, still fairly new and everyone was mandatory to wear masks everywhere. I came up after hours and was on... a bike in what was their possibly their quietest time of the night and they wouldn?t serve me through the window because I wason a bike instead of a car? Why does that matter when I took the same road as any other car to get there? in the end theywouldn?t take my order and were incredibly rude on top of that even though I used no vulgarity only asked why i can?t have myorder taken when they would hardly even talk to me to give me any information. Dont know why i come here.i ordered 2 6 piece on sunday may 15 I told the cashier fresh. I paid.. she didn't go to the back... and say fresh. Manager gave me my order 2 min later. I said r these fresh he said yes. Guess what ,nope they weren't. Thats forthe great sevice . ( not) Read more
Good location. Enough parking available as you can use walmart parking. It is not prime or dedicated McDonald spot as it is... located inside walmart. While doing grocery you can have a bite too. There is no drive through so it's not that busy as comparedto others mcdonalds are, but waiting time is still more they could be reason of shortage of staff. I also found typically atthis location customer service is not great. Never mind welcoming they don't even consider you there They have to work on thatbig times starting from employee to manager. Waited 10 min for fries at lunch time. They said they didn't have any ready so they were fresh. Given it was lunch time and lots... of people they would always be fresh. Instead every person waited about 10 min. New staff with less attitude that can do theirjob is needed. Read more
Mcdonalds going around boasting highest sales jump since 93' what are they selling though? soylent green? Look at this photo.... That's a hamburger and I bought 2 of those things. Cost me over 5 dollars and not even pickle. Maybe that's extra idk? I wasgoing to get a jr chicken but he said it would be a 3 and half minute wait for the Jr chicken. So I went with the hamburgersthat I got 5 and half minutes later. It's the way the world. Help wanted signs, new faces everyday. Turn over is probablyridiculous. I'll give mcdonalds points for the French fries and coffee. The mccafe I bought off the the shelf though and makeit myself. I'm starting ramble so in just going to end this review with this photo. mcdonalds is always a shockingly dystopian experience. wandering in on a cold night to pick up my ice cream and my fries, my dad... consoling my mom over the phone after she witnessed a man get assaulted. me dipping my crispy fries into my ice cream andlistening to the pop music blaring over the speakers, just loud enough to drown out my thoughts and replace them with anobnoxious beat that would be stuck in my head for days. the lights beat down in a similar fashion, making me painfully aware ofthe soreness in my eyes as I guzzled down cheap trash food. the woman at the counter was rushed. as I wonder how long she hadbeen working that night, the image of my mother yelling at a group of men beating another with chains entered my mind. maybeit's preferable to the transient, transactional human interactions we've grown so used to over the past few years, seemingly allthere is to sustain our mental health. it's simple. it's fast. it's cheap, exchanging empty words in an attempt to move on asfast as possible without being construed as offensive or unkind. it's moments like these that punctuate the nightly experiencesas we rub elbows with fate and our fellow humans, whether it's a quick, polite exchanged through a drive-thru window, or anassault at the side of the road. we have become witnesses to our own lives. being locked inside, deprived of human contact hasmade us hungry, a hunger that late-stage capitalism sustains, a hunger that 2.79 mcflurries and rounded-dollar donations tocharities cannot quench. overall it was alright ig EDIT: nevermind this was a different mcdonalds than I thought it was. therating still stands though Read more
