Cocktails are all named after songs by music artists. Aesthetics are surreal. Absolutely loved the speakeasy vibe.

The newly released whiskey is gorgeous! Strong, slightly oily almost silky, it's smooth and a little fruity. Delicious.

Unfortunately, I have to give 1 star simply because the waitress forgot about us and we never even got to order... We came in... after an MTC play since we had been meaning to check this place out and decided last minute to pop in for a cocktail beforeheading home. We were greeted immediately, the waitress sat us down and brought menus, only to never be spoken to again... Wechecked the clock after it felt like an unnatural amount of time had passed and started thinking about how long should we wait?We noticed that the couple that had arrived and sat down at the same time as us had their cocktails, so we had a hunch that theymay have just forgot about us. Shortly after that, the server came right up beside us and brought drinks to the table next toours, and so we thought surely she would notice/remember we were still there... But then once another 15 minutes passed (easilyover 30 minutes total after being given menus) we pulled the plug and left :( To be fair we could have walked up to the bar andreminded them about us, but we didn't have the energy to make a stink and get stuck waiting even longer. The cocktail menulooked interesting and the place had fun vibes. We plan to come back again and give the place another shot one day, today wasjust not a good experience unfortunately. Read more

Disappointed with service?.an unconscious bias led to our table being ignored because there were only a few tables. We were... excited to go try to support a local business but left feeling despondent and ignored after only 1 drink. The premium price didnot come with premium service. Will not return. Read more

This was not a place to enjoy just a drink, this is an experience. When you sit down and are handed a cd case, you can pull up... the song and pick a drink based on more than just a name. You can be pick on a song, a flavour, or a preference. Closing Time isamazing and worth staying until the end. Christian was our server and we adored him. Drinks were great, location has lots of character. The server was great. The bar staff was quite full of themselves however and... kind of put a damper on an over good experience. I would still visit again on a sunny day. I'm very happy this area is gettingrevived. Read more

Take the time to make a visit to Patent 5 Distillery. Location is very original and inviting. Cocktails made with their gin were... memorable. They have some cocktails ?to go?. This might be with a try! We will be back soon. Read more
