This was my first time trying this pizza pizza. They ask me to wait for 20 minutes and make us wait for 30. Ask for green... pepper, onion tomatoes and chicken. The food once we got it was pretty average. About a month ago, I was there with 2 other adults and 2 kids, aged 6 and 4. We... dined in. We ordered 2 combos that came to about $65. First we waited over an hour for our food. Then when we got it the 2pizzas had the wrong toppings. The solution provided by the workers was to take the pizzas put some gloves on and remove thewrong topping from the one pizza and put it on the other and hand the pizzas back to me. When I commented on this his reactionwas to shrug his shoulders at me and say 'I put gloves on.' Some of the best pizza I?ve had at a fast food restaurant in Winnipeg. The staff was really friendly and patient while I ordered... too! There menu option is also very broad compared to other pizza stores. I really love their Donair pizza, definitelyrecommend! Read more
I'm usually pretty jacked about ordering from Pizza Pizza but this time it didn't quite do it. I got a panzerotti and an order... of jalepeño poppers. The poppers were extremely good, nice and crisp with a good range of flavors. The panzerotti is adifferent story. I got it only because the Portage Ave location doesn't have the donair sauce and meat like the other PizzaPizza locations. I've wanted to try it for a little bit now and was kind of excited. I got the bacon double cheeseburgerpanzerotti. It tasted strangely sweet with the pizza sauce used in it. There's an unpleasant smokiness to it as well. Inspecific places, not throughout the whole panzerotti. It was just not very good tasting and I didn't eat the last half of it asa result. If I return to that location I will be getting something else but I'll likely choose to order from the locations thatcan make a Donaire pizza because it's extremely good. Read more
