The best Mexican food this side of Tijuana. The owner was very charming and gave me great advice on how to handle the drive... across the country. Definitely worth a 2-day drive to get to this place. Tried this place for the first time today. I often keep an eye out for local mom and pop shops. Upon entering I was greeted... warmly by staff. Great authentic style tacos! Order a trio of chorizo and steak tacos and a side of Mexican rice. Tacos were very good and the... rice was flavorful. Total was 13.50$, but I ordered the tacos and rice individually instead of getting a combo. Overall reallyenjoyed it and would definitely return. Our first time trying this iconic authentic Mexican taco ???? restaurant. As a result of covid it's been a while since we've... been to Mexico for a hot vacation and we needed a Mexican cuisine fix in a big way. We were definitely not disappointed!!! Wehad chicken tacos, beef (with fried cheese) tacos, chorizo tacos, a Mexican bowl, Mexican poutine, Pico de gallo and fordessert... churros with the caramel sauce. We were very pleased with the food; fresh, seasoned to perfection and sooooreminiscent of great tacos of Puerto Vallarta. The staff is hard working, friendly and got our order perfectly straight.
