Very poor service, dealing with the owner was a painful experience. We attempted to cancel an order 3 minutes after it was... placed. We had to present time stamps for the order after the owner insisted we were lying about the order, we proved that ithad been less then 2 minutes from order placed to Attempt to cancel. We were then informed that in that time span all two pizzasand two appetizers had been made. Either this pizza is not made fresh to order or the owner is decrepitive. When we arrivedafter driving across winnipeg to pick up this order, the pizza was cold and stale, and was not made to order. The owner thenargued with refunding the order, despite us refusing to accept the pizza. Overall it was a very disappointing experience and wewill not return. Read more
I had lunch here and found the place to be very clean. The staff were all pleasant and the service I received was top notch. ... The food ( I ordered a quesadilla) was very good. I could not finish it all as I was full before I ran out of food. It's anice restaurant. Read more
My wife and I went to Sorrentos on Grant for dinner Thursday evening. When we arrived the hostess was standing at the front... playing with her phone, but she seated us towards the back and left menus on the table. Also at the front two waitresses wereseated, one folding napkins the other playing on her phone. We were the only people in the restaurant. We noted that it wasreally cold and thought we would mention it to waitress when she came around to see if it could be turned down a bit. We waitedat least 10 minutes for someone to come to take our order. No cutlery or water was given to us during this time. Finally wegave up and got up and walked out. The two waitresses were still seated doing the same thing as was the hostess. Now I know whythere were no other customers in the restaurant. Read more
Yummy soup & salad. Had mushroom soup (lots of mushrooms!) and a Mediterranean salad. Both delicious. Waitress was very rude.... Seemed annoyed & bothered that we were there. Standing & waited to be seated for a lengthy time, yet the place was quite empty. Read more
This was our first time eating in at Sorrento's. We were quickly greeted and seated at our table. We noticed right away though... that the restaurant was incredibly cold. We each had on shorts and tank tops definitely not the right attire for the temperatureinside. We waited to see if the air conditioning would slow but unfortunately it did not. We are not ones to complain but mydaughter was shaking at the table. I mentioned the temperature to the server who replied with, it's always this way so I wear asweater and said that she could not turn down the air conditioning. We sucked it up and made the best of it placing my daughterbetween the adults to keep warm. While we were sitting there awaiting our meal an older couple came in and mentioned thetemperature too. She was told the same thing lucky for her she had a blanket in her car and she went out to get that. Weordered our dinner. It arrived hot, fresh and tasty. However, it was really hard to enjoy our food in the cold temperature. Weate quickly and left. Mediterranean salad always had olives and many small shrimp... Not any more. Used to get a basket of bread sticks, not anymore.... Taste is great still but these changes stink. Read more
Everything is good. Nice soup and the bread. The bread is soft and warm
We got pizza and salads to go and they were phenomenal! Delicious and huge! Highly recommend the Sorrentos salad!
