I really like this place. And I like supporting small businesses like this - they're nice people. Two tips for anyone new -... the crispy ginger beef is very ginger-y, just excellent. Too many places the ginger beef is chewy or meh, but this is crispyand flavourful. Second of all, there's an item on their lunch menu, #16, noodles and chicken with black pepper sauce. It'ssurprising - lots of black pepper in it, very peppery flavour, not typical Canadian-Chinese cuisine, but really interesting andtasty. Read more
Placed an order for the first time here. We ordered the spring rolls, deluxe chop suey, fried deluxe yes noodle & the chicken... with black bean and garlic dish. The pros; spring rolls were delicious , they are big and fat, super crispy and very tasty. Theportion sizes were good Prices decent, I paid $42 for what I ordered. Vegetables seemed fresh, shrimp were a good size. Thecons; Felt like the 3 dishes we ordered didn’t have a ton of flavour. They all tasted the same to me, the garlic with blackbean dish was decent and if I had to choose a flavourful dish this would be the one, but not full of flavour by anystretch. Maybe it was the dishes we ordered, I would definitely try again maybe some different dishes to compare. This was justmy opinion on my first and only experience here. Read more
Ordered here tonight earlier and delivery was quick food was hot and steamy still. The deluxe fried rice was amazing wasn't too... greasy just right amount and tender. The taste of their food is different from other chinese restaurants. The chow main wasyummy and was gone in a split second. The veggies were good also not creamy just the right amount crunch. Lol and the prices areaffordable and I would definitely order from here again. Read more
Excellent food. Veggies are really fresh and crunchy. The ginger beef was crispy and tasty but could be hotter/spicier. The... breaded veal was good, but I prefer smaller chunks. The stir fry veg was delicious. Read more
10/10. Big menu. Combo plate for 11.50 was great value, and I could barely finish it. Ginger beef was tender and delicious not... hard and chewy like most places. Wontons tasted amazing (not a hyperbole), over an amazing hole in the wall place. Read more
Oh boy.I wanted to like this place so much.My usual restaurant is closed until Sept and I really wanted Chinese food and it was... close to home.This was not good at all ????The only thing that was edible was the chicken balls and the rice but it wasso-so.The deluxe cantonese chow mein was horrendous.Smelled way to much of fish.Every other place Ive ordered Chinese from hasdeluxe cantonese Chow Mein but none have ever contained scallops and fish(the smell was nauseating)Usually onlychicken,beef,pork and shrimp.That part was my fault because it didn't show an image for that dish and it has no description ofwhat's in it(it said photo unavail) and I didn't ask which I should have!.70+ dollars later and me and my family all ended upfeeling unwell after eating.We tried something new but ended up very disappointed.We will stick to our tried and truerestaurant.
