Be careful with this restaurant. You have to order wasabi, ginger and soy sauce. It doesn't come with the order. May not be... for everyone but those items are are a big part of sushi. Read more
This is probably the third time I have this sushi. It is good and never disappoints. Highly recommended.
I came here for dinner and ordered Alaska roll, shrimp tempura roll, and salmon sashimi. I opened the box and had them... immediately when I return to my car. As a sushi chef who had 2 years experience, I would say the experience is good(compare tothe price). I feel everything I ordered worth the money I paid(except the miso soup). If you are looking for a sushi place whereyou spent little but can get a good portion of sushi(the quality is above the average), maybe give it try. Suggestion: removingthe tail crust of shrimp when you guys make the shrimp tempura roll. I know it looks good but uneatable. Read more
Absolutely phenomenal. We would definitely re-order from here any day. I hope to one day try some of the other Japanese dishes... available, I only quickly selected a few rolls but the menu seems vast enough to go back and try a few more dishes. Read more

I ordered medium sushi party tray first time. Processing time was fast. The sushi was delicious. Combination of sushi mix is... just right for family(with child). I am so happy to find out this nice sushi take out place in Winnipeg. Staffs are also veryfriendly. If you want to taste decent quality of sushi with good price in winnipeg, this is the right place. Our go-to sushi place. Always fresh, friendly staff, large portions of fish in all rolls, and amazing value for the prices they... charge. As a veteran customer of Wako when I used to live in River Heights, this place eclipses them in every way. Onesuggestion - when ordering at busy times, order well ahead. They are very good about calling and confirming longer waits whenthe online order system's standard wait time is too short, and they tend to throw in an order of spring rolls as an apology, butsomething to consider if your timeline is tight.
