me and my friends went here for lunch today, and we ordered one lunch meal and made us wait outside with a beeper. Other people... got there after us and got their food first. More people come in and don?t tell them to wait outside but make us, very confusingwe wanted to dine in so we sat at the table for our food and they told us to wait outside! while other people were inside, notto sure why. 20 min later we get our food after everyone else has been served and the fries are soggy not the best. Fast, delicious, & fair prices for what you get! The small fries are like a medium-large so could easily split between 2 people.... And the single Deluxe Hamburger is loaded so very filling! Recommend! Read more
The Burger Place came highly recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. Friendly and efficient staff, but the star of... the show are the burgers and fries (and chili). They rank right up there with the best in the city - which is not easy in a townfilled with quality burger options! I wouldn't hesitate to go back when next in town. Read more
I ordered the Deluxe cheese hamburger ???? with onion rings, and it was the finest burger I've ever eaten in Winnipeg. It was... incredibly juicy, as if the meat had been precisely prepared with right ingredients. The onion rings were tasty and crunchy. I like the poutine gravy. Not a fan of their bun, too hard not sure if it's stale or it's just made like that. I hope it's soft... that way I'll appreciate the burger better. Little messy to eat but it was a good burger. I got a hint of cinnamon with eachbite of the burger. Limited parking spot. I like how they have the buzzer whenever you order. Tried it for the first time and I gotta tell ya, you won't be disappointed. Amazing burger and will not leave you with an empty... stomach. I can't believe it's taken me this long to try it!! The Burger Place has been around for ages. The burgers are pretty good, though somewhat large and greasy. They tend to put chili... on a lot of things (optional) so if you?re into having chili on your burgers and fries, this place is right up your alley. Thisrestaurant did a number of interior and exterior renovations about a year or two ago so it looks more updated. They?ve kept anumber of retro Coca-Cola, Canada Dry, etc. pictures and memorabilia which adds a nice charm. Read more
**Edit** After calling the location we went too back, they credited us and gave us a new large poutine in return! Amazing staff... and was so nice on the phone when speaking with them. Got a fast response on Facebook to get the issue fixed! Now this is what Icall a real good poutine! Usually love burger place, but I guess today was an off day.
