Went on an autumn day, during the week. Felt sad and lonely around the shops and areas. I understand making money, but it sure... is a place for tourist overpriced trap items and souvenirs. Didn't have anything really to offer for lunches or snacks. Plusthe elevators were broken not really fair for handicap accessibility. Read more

I will go out of my way to visit this place. There was an abundance of food and shops that allowed a tourist like to get a good... feel of the area. I immediately stopped in and got some cigars and souvenirs. I decided to walk around and found some stairsthat took me to the top and gave me some pretty cool views of the area. I was able to go outside and see a live band set up andeventually led me to find a boat tour. There is an ATM where I was able to get local cash. Read more

A historical site converted into a beautiful and dynamic market with food, shopping etc and an amazing outdoor park / meeting... place with chairs and tables right by the Red River and the Assiniboine River. A must-see place in Winnipeg. A good example ofsound urban planning for other cities. Read more

It's a cozy place with lots of nice and cute stores here. It's a pity that I couldn't explore more due to insufficient time, but... I definitely will come back again. Oh, and the food is very good. Read more

Loved The Forks Market. Had THE best chocolatine ever at Tall Grass Prairie Bakery. So buttery, so ultra crispy flaky, I can't... wait Road visit The Forks and explore more, soon! Read more

an overall nice place to visit with plenty of stores and restaurants to go to. There's two storeys to explore; with the first... floor consisting mostly of dining, and the second floor consisting of merchandise and knick-knack stores. I also noticed a sortof chill lounge on the second floor too. For those visiting Manitoba, try climbing the watch-tower to get a nice view of thecity; as well as getting a nice aerial view of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. There's a neat covered parking lot nearbyfor those who are driving. Read more

I gave myself two hours parking to walk around the Forks Market and surrounding area. I would recommend at least 3 hours or more... as there is so much to do in this area. It was a beautiful day and it was quite busy. Lots of kids on field trips, younger kidsplaying in the sprinkler park, and other people on the walking path enjoying the sunshine. You can walk over the foot bridge tosee the Louis Riel site. This was also very busy with a line up to get it. I didn't go inside as I didn't want to wait inline... The walk over the bridge was nice. It took about 10 minutes to walk to Louis Riel from the Forts Market. Also saw someinteresting Public Art along the way. Read more

It's always great to visit the Forks when visiting Winnipeg. The area is well kept (no litter), with lots of seating areas... around the river and outside. With lots of boutique like stores to visit, you will walk away with a little treasure. On top ofthat, the food is excellent! I would recommend to come hungry if you can and snag yourself some treats! Very close to otherattractions downtown, all within walking distance (Human Rights Museum, Bridge, Winnipeg Sign, Meeting spot, etc). Read more
