First time trying Vera. Tried the calabrese and pancetta pizza's. Loved the thin crust (they have a great oven for pizza) and... the homemade sauces were unique with great flavor. Our waiter was very nice as well. Will be back! Read more

Not my cup of tea. Nothing on the menu appealed to me. My husband enjoyed the meat balls but the salad, which was huge, had a... very weird tasting house dressing. Our friends enjoyed what they ordered but my pizza was blah. No air conditioning so very warminside. We had to scramble to find street parking. Read more

Been in this quaint little Winnipeg gem a number of times. Service is especially friendly and efficient & quick. Parmesean Salad... is a 10 out of 10!! The meatball appetizer also deserves at 10 out of 10!! And what can I say about the pizza. Interesting chewydough ( in a good way) All pizzas whether with tomatoe sauce, or olive oil are delish. One of Winnipeg's Best Kept Secrets!!! Read more

I have eaten take away here a few times but today I ended up on Vera's patio and had a lovely meal. Their pizzas are very unique... yet completely classic. Each pie has a special flavour that always leaves me wanting to try another. Don't be afraid to rollup, fold, ball, fork or canoe a slice! There are as many ways to enjoy it as there are pies on the menu! Service was reallynice, and friendly and definitely made us feel warm and welcome. It's great to see that there kitchen is visible to the guestsand that staff was always busy and doing something. Never felt rushed, or hurried and I really appreciate that. The music was abit too loud, made it hard to have a conversation and it would be nice to see a bit more effort in the decor that matched theuniqueness of the food. With a little more elegance I would feel more comfortable with the price point. All around a great spotin the village and I would definitely recommend eating here. Worth the money, but more of a treat than a regular spot. So goahead, treat yourself ????. Ordered the Fungi and margarita pies ???? Fungi if you like stronger flavor and for sure a mushroomfan Margarita is a must try. If you don't like this, this place is not for you haha.its a staple. Read more

It was ok. Very doughy taste and texture. Dough seemed really salty. Sauce and cheese was good. I wouldn't run back but I have... been wanting to try it for a while. Read more

There is a lot of street parking all around this restaurant. This restaurant has a few tables and can be tricky getting a table.... It is so worth the effort to get a table! The pizzas are great, the dough/crust is thin light and chewy. The cheese wasflavourful and tasty. Overall I found these pizzas pretty close to what I got in northern Italy. The staff is wonderful theyreally made our visit great. Definitely go and eat in. Read more
