We went here to try the 2019 Burger Week burger, the Hot Mess. At first we asked the waitress if we could have the egg cooked... over-hard, she went to the back and came back out and told us no. We then asked if we could just not have the egg on it, andagain was told no, and there was no modifications allowed for the burger. We spoke with the manager and he went and told thechef to fully cook the egg so the yolk wasn't runny. When we got the burger, we had to put it on its side and eat it layer bylayer, which seemed to work. That was until we got to the actual burger patty. I sliced into it, over the rest of the burger, sothe mac and cheese and the grilled cheese on the bottom, and the patty wasn't fully cooked. It was pretty pink throughout and itgrossed us out, so we sent it back and the manager did end up comping the meal for us without much trouble, which is the reasonfor the 2 stars. So in the end, the chef that didn't want to fully cook the egg, wasn't able to fully cook the actualhamburger. Read more
I came here often for lunch with a friend while studying at the university, and it was always a good experience. The staff is... very friendly, there was always enough room to sit, and they have a good menu with reasonable prices. However, it is a littlenoisy and the music isn't always great. You hear everyone talking and it can get pretty loud sometimes. They don't ask people tobe quiet when they're being loud, but if someone gets too much, they will be escorted away by security, and if someone is reallybothering you, you can also ask security for help and they treat the issue respectfully (I have only needed to ask their help atone social, where a drunk individual was harrassing myself and my friends quite badly and getting physical, he was escorted awaytwice by security, didn't come back after the second time). Overall I would certainly recommend visiting the Hub if you'relooking for a low-key place to eat on campus. But mind allergies, because a lot of their dishes have the same foods, let theserver know if you're allergic to something (potato and tomato are a problem for me, but I can still get several dishes and theytake allergies seriously). Daily beer, cocktail, soup, and entree specials. Booze and spoons is a must for all cereal lovers. The food menu, including the... specials will never disappoint. It is my favourite place to grab a bite on campus. The daily evening events are great if youneed to wind down from studying. Service is good, even during its busy hours. Read more

Come here for the food, drinks, student culture, and by occasion sporting events and to hang out. I used to visit the Hub, and... formerly when it was Wise Guys, every now and then when I was a student. Cozy modern bar with TVs and some pool tables as well. Read more
Good student pub. Cheap beer, decent good, hard working staff (but not enough of them). It seems good for students. We hit it... after a long day at a conference. We would have preferred a quieter spot. But students on the dance floor looked happy. Read more
Love this place, one of my fav in city to hangout with your friends and party. The booze is always cheap compared to all other... pubs in the city. Food and specials are too good, best value for both food and booze. Wednesday nights are packed, you get beerfor $2 ???? Read more
