We ordered take out for my granddaughter?s birthday and I was surprised at the number of negative reviews. We ordered six... different dishes and we all thought the food was delicious. I saw people complained about chicken balls and deep fried shrimpbeing soggy as they came already in the sauce. We just ordered it asking for deep fried with sauce on the side and it was sogood. The batter was crisp and not doughy and the shrimp were fresh and plump. Their dried veal was delicious. There was not onecomplaint from any of us and we will definitely order from them again. To start. Google the prices are considerably higher than on the menu provided on the overview. I was hoping to give a good... review but I can't. It is the worst Chinese food that I have ever eaten. It is the first time that sweet and sour chickenball came sauce and balls together rather than separate containers. Not impressed. Did you run out of vegetables. Absolutely horrible. It has gone downhill after new ownership, but after this latest experience I was stunned. I ordered food... at 5pm for delivery to my home. They said they were running a bit behind and that it would be an hour and 15 mins. 2 hourslater I called and they said no one had started my order yet at all. I would need to come and pick it up. (this was a smallorder - 3 dishes). After going there to pick it up, I was offered no discount on the food, no apology and when I asked to speakto the manager, I was told that I had to come back on Monday because he couldn't see me at this time. Terrible terrible food!!! Do not order from here. The chicken fried rice wasn't even fried!! It was steamed rice with soy sauce... and chicken strips on it and a chunk of melted butter on top, it was disgusting. The veal was paper thin and didn't even tasteat all like veal and was not even seasoned. The lemon chicken tasted like boxed pre-made lemon meringue. The beef in the beefvegetable tasted like canned beef chunks, it was awful. Everything was disgusting, I don't know how any restaurant can operatewith such horrible quality food. Worst chicken fried rice I have ever had in my life . They latterly tossed some chicken over boiled rice and that?s it
Very pleasant surprise! The vegetables were perfectly cooked, not overdone. Deep fried items were also not overdone or greasy.... The won ton soup was nice. Frankly, we are used to disappointment in our travels when we order, and we both enjoyed our meal.Really nailed proper cooking on vegetables, which was my favourite dish. Also, the person who took the order over the phone, aswell as the delivery person, were really pleasant, which is always nice. I am not giving five stars only because I was not thatfond of the Cantonese steak, as I expected steak rather than small pieces of meat with vegetable that seemed more like a stirfry than what I am used to for this dish; however, aside from that, we were very pleased. Food is not bad and apparently they warm up dishes before serving and not make it freshly. But the price is not so expensive,... comparable to the food quality. When I went in, no one was there, only take out orders. Read more
