if they ask you to leave you ID, don't. because chances are you will be leaving without your ID at the end of the night and the... trenchant question from the security that insisted that I leave the document with the door person is "what do you want me todo.?" Look if you cannot safe guard people's docs why take them in the first place. You can just look at it and verify who everis coming in meets required criteria. Great place! But the music honestly sucks.
It?s a bar, but the hot dog cart out front is what?s getting most the stars on this review Update: not sure how to reach out... with the story, I?d rather not post it because it was a bad experience. Not with the establishment but with a person who wasthere, who choked me. I ran to the security and we couldn?t find him. (The handled it well) I left, got a hotdog and walkedhome. been going to this bar for a long time . in the past 6months I've noticed a big change in how the staff interact with their... customers. the waitresses ignore you if your not a big tipper and the bar tenders some of them are very rude and ignoreme. it's a good thing there are 3 bars at least on if them will give me service. the new thing is when I enter the bar I'mfrisked like I'm a criminal and and actually feel violated. last night I followed the rules and emptied my pockets with keyscoins and cell phone in hand. I had some hard candies in my jacket pocket and the security guy demanded that I take every one ofthem out of my pocket. so demoralizing. I entered and gave my licence to the dude and it came up that I wasn't a member. hasthat been removed from my status as a good patron that has spent alot of money there over the years. fortunately the lady knewI was a regular and made excuses for their fault computer program. It was a pretty good experience. I loved the security measures in place. They won't tolerate hooliganism at any cost. I saw the... bouncers booting out a few guys who were trying to act smart and ruining the night. Drinks are pretty cheap and they provide agreat service! Just one thing: the dance floor is kinda small so it can get crowded sometimes. Read more
Mr Owner, I visit Winnipeg every two months from Hawaii to visit my ailing mother. Love the club? HOWEVER? when I was on the... outdoor patio and had to go to the restroom, your power-tripping bouncer doorman stationed at the patio entrance lineup made mewait in line to get back in to join my friends after I went to the restroom? several times? even though he knew I was just goingto use the restroom? and he was even arrogant enough to acknowledge that he was making me wait in line each time. Of course thedoorman let several other people bypass the patio line. PLEASE put a port-a-potty on your patio so I can spend more time with myfriends... or I guess I could buy less beer. p.s.
