The "wait" staff was very patient and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I was having fun watching the waiters and bartender... make up the drinks and take them to the table. The food was great but the coffee was a little cold. Read more
Decent place. Good Salsa and Chips. I had the Veggie Fajitas and it was of good quality ingredients.
Stopped for lunch. Tried something new I had never tried before. Los Socios. I was blown away by the taste. Nothing like... what I've had any any Mexican restaurant. El Patron is one of the best restaurants in Winona! First of all, the food is AMAZING and at an affordable price too! They also... have a good bar selection, the margaritas are my favorite, there are many flavors. The service is always great too- the staff isprompt, friendly and very helpful. The food comes out very quickly. The restaurant is always VERY clean too (see photo!) Ireally love this place and would recommend it to anyone. You won?t be disappointed! Read more
The Bandido Mexicana was very good. Margaritas both El Patron and Strawberry were excellent. I didn't care for the white dip.... It was a bit like ranch. Overall a very good experience. Read more
OUTSTANDING food and drinks!! Had the California Burrito, Steak Casadilla, beef taco - everything has SO MUCH flavor - the salsa... is obviously fresh made daily - had the El Patron fishbowl margarita and WOW not only refreshing but delicious!! I can?t sayenough good about this spot - even the staff who is smoothly bilingual are very experienced and have a great knowledge of thefood they serve. We are not from Winona. We tried this restaurant while touring WSU. I'm glad my daughter chose WSU because now we have more... reasons to come back! The Pollo Loco is delicious! The fish tacos were awesome! We have loved all that we have tried and will beback every time we are in town! Read more
