Food was awesome! The root beer was some of the best I have ever had.
We were there right before noon on a rainy Monday and a friendly person greeted us at the car. She was waiting to tell us about... the menu and pretty much anything we wanted to know about Winona. All we ordered was a frosty mug of rootbeer but it was sorefreshing and not anything like what you would get in a grocery store. A nice drive in comparable to Sonic. It is open from spring to early fall. Servers are all females as I've noticed each time... coming here that any male workers are cooks. Food is decent, prices are cheap individually but if you want a lot of food thenyou'll start to see yourself get to the $15-20 range which still isn't bad. You are able to stay in your car and order as wellwhich is nice. It was the first place I ate when I moved here last summer. Good place to go for a quick bite. Read more

I've had root beer fresh from the brewery in St. Arnold's in my hometown of Houston, TX; I thought it was the superior root beer... but Lakeview Drive Inn wins hands down. The food was hot and fresh, service was friendly, and the tables were clean. I'm veryhappy they have vegetarian options too! This was a great choice for our date. :) Read more
Fun spot to take the family - their root beer is fresh brewed and is OUTSTANDING!! We had a burger, fries, and cheese curds.... Cheese curds were terrific - fries were good - and the burger was ok :) prices are very reasonable and the staff is extrafriendly! Read more
Great food, fun place they bring your food to your car like old drive inns also have nice outdoor seating!
