Great view from the restaurant out onto the lake. Really neat atmosphere. We ordered the spinach and cheese dip with the... tortilla chips and it was delicious. The fried shrimp was really good and I got the smashed potatoes and I liked those a lot. Iwill say, the prices are quite high, which is why I give four stars instead of five. Our waitress was great and the food was okay but not great for the price. My rice dish came at luke warm at best. Portion sizes... were large. The place was busy...which made it very loud and hard to hear the conversation at our own table. Which, by he way,was a generic brown folding legs type! Read more

Stopped in for dinner while on our fall girls trip and enjoyed our dinner by the lake. While we waited for our table we strolled... through the mercantile. The Boathouse had and continues to be one of my favorite locations. The menu offers a good variety, the quality is great, and... the service is fantastic. And you cant beat the view of beautiful Winona Lake at sunset! Oh, and if you want a greatappetizer, get the nachos. You won't regret it! Read more
