Amazing food and great hosts!! We walked in around noon and had a experience that will keep us coming back while we?re here in... Vermont. The Crab Rangoon is exquisite and the prices were wonderfully appropriate for a lunchtime meal. In our constant quest to find decent take out, we tried mandarin. What terrible food. 4 different dishes on our plate and it all... tasted the same. As in no taste. Vegetables old, fried rice tasteless, everything tasteless. No joy here in posting a badreview. ?Must be hard in the restaurant business, but if you are in it, for gods sake, make a decent product. Great takeout! Had the beef & broccoli, beef chow fun, and 3 mushrooms & bok choy - all were excellent. It's been a long time... since I've had beef chow fun, and this place made me remember why I love it so much. Definitely will be ordering from hereagain. Read more
Had always enjoyed Joyce's Noodle House. Mandarin is run by her son. They have the world's best crab rangoon. Mandarin has a... varied menu and all tastes great. We went 2 days in a row for the lunch menu. Highest reccomendation. Food is not too heavy orsalty, either. Read more
We loved it here! We heard from friends that live nearby and have been here many times that they have good food (they love the... scallion pancakes and string beans with garlic sauce) and fun cocktails so decided to try it out. We got the Scorpion Bowl andthe Hot and Dirty for drinks. The Scorpion Bowl was excellent! The Hot and Dirty was a little too spicy for my taste but kepttrying it. Partway into our meal, I ended up getting a dirty martini and adding a splash of the hot and dirty to it and lovedthat? we offered to pay for both because it really just came down to my own personal taste but the waiter insisted not to chargeus! We got the Szechuan Spicy dumplings for an app and they were amazing! For dinner, we got the Singapore Mei Fun, Beef withginger scallion, and Chili Shrimp. Everything was sooooo good!! Thinking back now, I think the dumplings and shrimp weresupposed to be spicy and were not that spicy but it didn?t matter and we didn?t even notice at the time because it was so good! Eh. Nice looking, and staff was very friendly, but food was just OK for the price. Egg rolls taste like they're from a grocery... store freezer, General Tao's chicken didn't really have much flavor and wasn't spicy at all. Lo Mein was average. Broccoli inboth main dishes was limp and soggy. On the plus side the Orange Beef was very good. But for what they charge we had highhopes. Maybe use Basmati or Jasmine rice to add a little to the meal? Rework General Tao sauce? Just needed... more. Read more
