We stayed at La Posada for 2 nights and enjoyed having dinner and breakfast in this beautifully renovated historic hotel and... restaurant. The cuisine is eclectic with Southwestern influences; however, there are options for all palettes. My favoritedinner selections were the bison short ribs and the famous black bean and corn chowder. The crepes for breakfast wereoutstanding and not overly sweet. In the morning, we would sit by the window and watch the trains go by. The staff wasexceptional…gracious, friendly but professional. Be sure to stop at the Martini Bar before sitting down for dinner. Thecocktails are unique and they take their craft very seriously. I got an impromptu lesson about how to make a proper OldFashioned! Staying at La Posada and eating at the Turquoise Room was such a unique experience, and we learned so much about thehistory of the hotel and Winslow. It was a fabulous surprise. We originally came to Winslow to “Stand On A Corner”, but wediscovered so much more. Looking forward to our next visit. Read more

Good food, great atmosphere inside a fabulous hotel. Fantastic service. The soup and salad were spectacular. The signature soup... has been served here since the restaurant opened in the 1930’s. The salad was excellent and our server was kind enough to haveit split for us because we wanted to share. If you are traveling route66/I-40 this is worth the time to stop and enjoy arelaxing meal with great atmosphere. The hotel is amazing and worth the visit. Read more

We were driving up to the meteor crater and decided to stop for a quick bite. What a nice surprise! The place is really cool... and service was very good. I had their corn and bean soup along with the corn bread and it was delicious. My husband had theirtacos and they were very good too. We will come back for sure when we are in the area again. Great experience grabbing lunch here yesterday. We were able to sit in the lobby, and bring our non-service pet with us. Our... server, Erin, was such a pleasure, and made sure we had an amazing experience and were well taken care of, even though we werenot in the main dining area. The complementary corn bread with a caramelized glaze was The Best I've ever eaten (pictured).Ordered the calamari for an appetizer and it was perfectly fried, with side sauce that had a tasty little zing without beingoverpowering (pictured). I had the turkey sandwich on sourdough for lunch, which was absolutely delicious, and finished my mealoff with a nice creme brulee and cappuccino (pictured). I recommend this place for anyone looking for amazing food andoutstanding service, including pet friendly amenities. Thank you! Read more

We stayed at the La Posada Hotel so we decided to try the restaurant out. It was a very good choice. The Crispy Fried Calamari... was delicious. The Signature Soup is a creamy sweet corn and spicy black bean. It was so good we ordered another one. We werethere for 2 nights and we went there 3 times. It was that good. We tried the Wild Wild Platter, Buffalo New York Strip, ribeyemedallions. There are really no other good food around and this place is a gem of Winslow. Read more

Good food, good drinks, cool funky vibe. Wild wild platter was good although the tamale and side veggies were a bit... underwhelming. Corn and bean soup was excellent, squash blossom was very good. Service was pretty slow so don't be in a hurryhere. It took an hour and 15 minutes to get the main course. Server always seemed a bit rushed and was impatient when we had aquestion on the check. There had to be a dozen pet dogs in the restaurant fyi. But it's the classiest place in town for dinner. Read more

Both the hotel and restaurant are gorgeous examples of mission style architecture beautifully maintained and furnished. ... Something lovely catches your eye at every turn. The service was amazing, and the food superb. The soup was the best bite todate in our month-long ramble across country. Each side delicious alone, but to die for together. Silky texture, with justenough bite to offset the sweetness of the corn. Extensive wine list, with solid recommendations for pairings. Don’t pass thisby! Read more
